this isn't actually correct though. The layers have to be done in separate colours so that no black part touches another and nbo white part touches another white part.
Great work on figuring it out in your own way though.

Oh! Ha ha, didn't realise that. I suppose there are many, many possible ways to do this puzzle, making many different patterns.
