I'm not a fan of this guy but I don't think he sounds that bad. It's pretty obvious that he's not at his 100% but he sounds thick and he reaches his particular high pitched range and he goes even more deep with his growls than the studio version. Just my opinion.

I absolutely love when they decide to keep the shots of the video that record the least interesting parts of the guitar solo and then pan away when he is shredding. Love it.

To be honest i dont think i have ever seen these guys have a day to themselves, they are always on the road and recording so i can see why they would be exhausted, still love these guys and every single thing they have put out
Ok guys, I saw Chelsea Grin literally only three weeks ago in Adelaide, South Australia and they were insanely good. These live videos really do their sound justice. Their breakdowns shook the fucking venue and Alex sounded brilliant. Never judge a band on these videos, ever!
I remember on another video I watched where the drummer did a play-through of one of their songs someone said that the drummer sucked when the band would play live, well I'm here to say that this drummer is absolutely amazing live!!!!!

Expect there are definitely bands that tour aggressively and still sound perfect. Touring is a part of being a musician, not an excuse to deteriorate. Clearly there will be some degree of change, but don't pretend that everyone's going to trash their voice

It is just stupid not to show a guitar solo live! I'm going to write their filming crew a letter of complaint... haha
One of three reasons:
1. The camera shot wasn't good enough (very possible, I know I've struggled to film faster guitar parts before if I don't actually know how to play it, so they lose track of fingers)
2: To keep variety, especially if they only had one camera on Jason
3. It's still interesting to see what the band is doing. They should've used more footage of the solo if they had more good footage, but they still should show what's going on with the rest of the band too
It all seems stupid, but trust me, I've more than dabbled in videography, and those are the three most likely reasons.
