Every tension needs some space
Every motion a quiet place
A balance to the high-pitched craze
Every tenor.....
Needs a bass.
0:00 - Oh this is neat, Niko did a quick little self-insert into Tim's recording...
0:19 - *OH.*
Lol!!
Did the last note make your eyes twitch??? lol.
@@Rainmaker65 it did something alright
you are the most underrated bass on youtube by far
Thanks so much! Huge compliment!
@@NikoPorter I keep coming back to both hear and see this again. I feel a sort of transcendent moment at 30 seconds. Namastè.
Oh wow! I did expect you to drop the octave but I didn’t know where you would drop the octave…. That was such an amazing spot to do it! And your lows down there sound SOOO crisp clean man! Simply amazing!
Dude, that was SUCH a gorgeous slide down the Maj 7th! 🥰 All the feels, and then you kept it down the octave. Very impressive Niko! 👍🏻💈
I knew it was going to be impressively low. I didn't know it was going to be so beautiful.
That last note was buttery smooth!!
Wow! Great clean low A flat at the end!
crisp and clean. new favorite video for this tag.
I wish I could sing in the first octave 🥲. I'd need subharmonics to reach the Ab1 here. I can manage the Db2 in chest but GOLLY. It was also soo smooth, you need to relax into your lower register you can't push anything or it won't happen!
Truth!
I dont really get a good sense of raw talent when in Your recording’s due to the awesome production skills you have, but seeing you at international absolutely blew my mind you are the real deal 🙌
It’s interesting, I actually don’t really touch my audio! Tim’s upper 3 parts are so crystal clear, I don’t have to do much work at all! I balance a bit, and adjust the EQ but no pitch editing or anything fancy. Thanks so much!
The switch was INSANE! WOW
Freaking amazing bro! I love this tag and you just made it 100 times better 🤯🤯🤩
Last note floored me!
That's beautiful! I love it.
What an unexpected drop down! Bravo
nahhh my jaw dropped i was not expecting THAT
Hit the like button when I heard the drop. Epic.
That was a beauty Ab sir.
Good rendition brotha! Keep up the amazing work!
The seismometer just went off in Ohio, then there was an emergency alert to expect a Tsunami shortly. WOW!!!! Like many before, I expected the drop, but the octave drop after that...through my headphones, it made my hearing go squirley for a bit...and I liked it!. EDIT: In that very last note...you hit that softly, but about a second later, I hear a change, and it's like you super-relaxed and I'm betting you closed your eyes and this small smile crept over - and the words going through your mide: NAILED IT!
didnt expect that holy moly
Your not a bass your an octavist buddy... Crazy full low timbre on that A1. ❤
That was amazing !
HOT SLIDE BABY!!!!! Smacked me right in the earholes on that one Niko!!!!!
wowzer
All hail to the best bass on YT. Nice job. Wish I could sing a tag with you in real time Niko.
Har, I think that you incarnated just so you could do this. Niiiice!!
Nice G1
This is my kind of content
Nice, Niko!
Let's go, niko porter, with Tim waurik
Insanely good holy crap man
Great collaboration! Big talent here.
Niko is a GOAT! Atta boy
Great job!
holy shit
You're such a fucking beast.
Woah
Niiiiiiiice
Epic! Slap like now! #bass
I knew you would drop the octave! Nice low Ab at the end! How do you get your lows so smooth and resonate? Are there any exercises you do to get there or any advice you can give on that? Thanks!
Recording in the morning always helps… lol! The biggest things for me were time, patience, and practice. Age has also helped me quite a bit. I’m only 20, but when I was 16 I never sounded like this. Trusting the process essentially, I’ll say! That, and STAY HYDRATED lol!
@@NikoPorter Okay cool. I have been doing everything you said. I just have to give it time. I am also 20, so maybe that is a big part of it. Thanks, man. I appreciate your advice and keep up the good work!
@@bradyschoch7562 I wouldn't say age is 100% part of it.... Here's a name: J.D. Sumner. Though he used a "bass mic," you still have to hit/hold the note. JD was 73 when he went home to God, and was still doing sub-basement work. Though Niko has quite a lot of truth to back him up...keeping hydrated is probably the biggest thing...less friction in the vocal folds and allows them to work smoother.
@@Rainmaker65 Men's voices naturally get lower as they age, so Sumner is a perfect example, actually.
can we get a solo version of that?
You mean only bass?
@@NikoPorter yes my friend, i would like to hear the low notes as they more silent the lower you get
I've never been a big fan of subharmonics. Tag sounds good though.
Good thing I didn’t use them! Thanks man!
Oh. No. You. Didn't! 🤯🤯🔥🔥🔥
I never heard the full song of this :/
god dayum
Nice name
@@NikoPorter u2 chief
Bro idek what note that was but that was awesome!!!! I don't sing but I'm sure I couldn't even sing the octave above that note. Very well done! (☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞
the last two notes are strohbass by any chance? awesome performance and great addition to the original!!!
Nope, that is all my own natural voice. Thanks for watching!
@@NikoPorter Wow that is really impressive!!!
Hey Niko! Was this Subs or Chest? Just the last note btw
Everything I do is in my natural voice. Haven’t learned how to use subharmonics effectively yet!
Wow! I’ve only gotten down to a B1 on my channel. Subharmonics can come in handy but only if you know how to use them. Nice stash!
Jesus
That’s absurd
