Glad i did cause it was pretty hard finding his stuff in my area back then. Running Wild is a band that i cant seem to find anything of theirs out in the wild. Ive been slowly woking on my U.D.O. albums, i have Solid, No Limits, and Steel Factory. His stuff is hard to find as well. I still need to get that Sodom EP. I loved the Fight stuff but I think ur right in that it may’ve not aged as well. As for the Halford stuff, esp Resurrection, was top notch heavy metal imo, much more in the vein of Priest as you said. I also agree about that last Halford release, which just wasn’t as good! I never got into his 2wo project, at all. Will always be The Metal God!!! 🤘🏼

Another nice haul brother. I need to get the Halford solo stuff. I never cared for Fight. But I know the early solo stuff is very pain killer esque. That number 74 times 2 is very disturbing. That's the most Darcyish update ive seen in ages 😂. That limited edition 74 would have me getting in touch with them to see if they tried to butter me up with free stuff. Ive said it before about the For All Kings box set I bought. I went in Saturn in Hamburg and there was shelves and shelves of them. I was so annoyed. Resilient is certainly better than Rapid Foray. Infact I never go back to that hardly. I like the Mike Howe in the Metal Chutch logo style. What a shame about him.

1982 is really good, I have been picking up some Sodom when I see them. I have listened to some Running Wild but I don’t own any of their albums. I’m a new fan of U.D.O. I picked up Touchdown, that was one of my favorite albums of last year. Maybe a friend will be selling some of those……😂😂

Im a cd guy and do not buy much on vinyl but when the cd is in a sleeve, it makes me just want to buy the vinyl. The spine on the digisleeves are so thin that I can barely read them on my cd rack. I have to get that Sodom-1982. I didn't get that 40 years album. If you own every album is it worth it? Sodom kind of pisses me off with their Eps lately because they release one and then they put the songs on their next album. If you don't own them their live album Mortal Way of Live is one of my favourite live albums. Also it's worth it to hunt down Sodom's The Saw is The Law EP. The Saw is the Law (Splatter Version) is superior to the version that is on Better Off Dead(in my Top 3 Sodom albums). It also includes Sodom covering Bryan Adam's The Kids Wanna Rock. Yes you read that right, Sodom covered a Bryan Adams song and it's a fun treat for Canadian fans and it's only on that EP.

I learn of Rob Halford thru his Traditional Groove Metal band Fight back in 1993 while I learn of Judas Priest with Ripper Owens in 1997.

Wow minis 35 Celsius, the coldest i can remember here in Ireland was minus 15 back in 2010-2011 and we found that hard to deal with.

And I remember working with a lituanian guy and he told me that it was because we didn't build the houses properly to deal with that. Pipes not deep enough etc. He told me where he lived that the walls were much thicker and all the pipes were buried deep under ground. I'm assuming Canada would be the same 👍👍👍.
1982 is really good, I have been picking up some Sodom when I see them. I have listened to some Running Wild but I don’t own any of their albums. I’m a new fan of U.D.O. I picked up Touchdown, that was one of my favorite albums of last year. Maybe a friend will be selling some of those……😂😂
I will assure you, the friend you’re thinking of will not be selling any of his original U.D.O. CDs 😂 You’re best best is the AFM Records Shop, the shipping sucks ass, but everything is pretty much on sale so it offsets the cost.

Great update my friend. I laughed so hard when you showed those RAM hype stickers with the same number. What a joke! Limited my ass! 😆..I also agree about the SPV digipacks. Top notch as far as digipacks go but I'll still take a jewel case anyday when possible! I have been getting more and more of my new release cds in the shitty digisleeves and I can not stand them! Just got the new Evergrey cd in one last week. I mean cmon, you cant even add a damn plastic tray!! Im a cd guy and do not buy much on vinyl but when the cd is in a sleeve, it makes me just want to buy the vinyl. The spine on the digisleeves are so thin that I can barely read them on my cd rack. Just terrible! Sorry for the rant! 🤣...Anyway, try to stay warm. We have been pretty lucky here in Buffalo so far this winter.Very little snow and temperatures that are reasonable also but it's a long winter! Hope you are having a great new year so far. 🤘

I have to get that Sodom-1982. I didn't get that 40 years album. If you own every album is it worth it? Sodom kind of pisses me off with their Eps lately because they release one and then they put the songs on their next album. If you don't own them their live album Mortal Way of Live is one of my favourite live albums. Also it's worth it to hunt down Sodom's The Saw is The Law EP. The Saw is the Law (Splatter Version) is superior to the version that is on Better Off Dead(in my Top 3 Sodom albums). It also includes Sodom covering Bryan Adam's The Kids Wanna Rock. Yes you read that right, Sodom covered a Bryan Adams song and it's a fun treat for Canadian fans and it's only on that EP.
