I totally agree with you the leather on a lot of the coach bags is very thin and it feels like Vinyl!! It doesn’t smell like leather and definitely doesn’t look like leather!!
I felt in store and thought it feel like a really soft leather but I like it. Still not sure yet because of the price. I like the brass hardware better.
If I could recommend, FASHIONPHILE the app you can find great deals for better quality idk just my own opinion and my experience with leather and quality Coach dropped the ball on it

I went to the Coach store yesterday and thought the same thing about this bag.. I wasnt liking the leather at all and I feel its gunna scuff really quickly.. I wish it had the same leather as the Coach Cassie.. Im gunna go with the black denim bag..
I didn’t keep it for more than an hour. As soon as it got delivered I opened it and took it back to the store. From what I remember how it felt, yes this kind of leather in particular would scuff easier than the denim ones they have

Hun, I know exactly what you're talking about. I bought this same bag in the wine multi and I had the exact same reaction to the leather as you did. Unfortunately, I didn't return it in time. To me, the leather feels super thin and like it's got soft, thin cardboard inside of it. Like you said it's hard to explain but I was disappointed also!

Just bought the bag, in black with brass hardware. I totally agree, the leather feels like plastic. I sent it back. Not worth $450. What a disappointment.

I think it’s lamb skin. Which is thinner leather than cow hide which coach usually uses.
