In Part 7, ash-Shaykh Abū Khadījah حفظه الله discusses the following:
[1] The battle between Ahl as-Sunnah and the people of misguidance has been going on since Allāh sent the Prophets and Messengers to this earth.
[2] The people of Sunnah ascribe to the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم, while all deviation and misguidance leads back to sources external to the ummah (the Jews, the Christians, the munāfiqīn, Greek philosophy, Hindu mythology, etc.) seeking to corrupt the religion from within.
[3] The importance of the call to at-Tawhīd, which is not seen from the callers upon innovation.
He then went on to discuss the following ten points which demonstrate what the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Salaf were upon and how this differs from the mindset of the people, groups, and parties today. From those points:
[1] The Jamā'ah is that which the Salaf were united upon during the Caliphates of Abū Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthmān. Then people split away from and differed with the Salaf during the time of 'Uthmān and 'Alī.
[2] The foundations of innovation are the Khawārij, the Rāfidah, the Jahmiyyah & Mu'tazilah, the Murji'ah, and the Qadariyyah. Every sect emanated from these original sects.
[3] It is impermissible to rebel against the Muslim rulers and authorities. He also explained the nature of the Khawārij, especially the Qa'diyyah who encourage and incite others to rebel without doing so themselves. Also, he clarified the importance of not concealing the Sunnah if it's not convenient or doesn't align with one's agenda
[4] The best of the ummah after the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was the 4 Caliphs, then the rest of the ten promised Paradise, then the rest of the Companions from the Muhājirīn and the Ansār. They are not to be mentioned except with good, and anyone who reviles them is an innovator. Sayyid Qutb is a clear example of this; in fact Sayyid Qutb has revived the roots of the people of innovation (the Khawārij, the Rāfidah, the Jahmiyyah & Mu'tazilah, the Murji'ah, and the Qadariyyah).
