She's very funny....and I feel like that's a bit overlooked.
i think what people tend to miss is that Aurora listens/pays attention to the music and doesn't have prejudice on WHO sang it. if she likes the sound then she likes it; doesn't have to be the singer. so for those who keep saying she doesn't like Ariana, i think it's moreso she doesn't like this specific song of hers that they let her listen. She wouldn't cover one of her songs if it's the singer she didn't like. :)

that cover she did was on a radio station that gives an artists one hour to create a cover of a song the station picks. Aurora didnt pick that song, but she made it oh so much better in just one hour

Yet it's a standard technique taught to every single drummer, you're supposed to tinkle that bloody high hat like it's a toilet and you drank a six-pack of beer an hour ago. Ugh. I quit drum lessons at that point. As a drummer I'm a pretty good guitarist (my real instrument), but I know what's ugly, and she's right.
@@badtux that's not a bloody drum lol. That's synth and added in a music making program. Which is fine, but that sound is atrocious. There's one soundtrack where it doesn't suck though (because of the composition): Still I rise- Nova Rogue
@@SahilP2648 When you're reproducing the sound live with a band (as versus backing tracks) it is a high hat. But yeah, the production was a synth drum.

@@drea94 Everybodies got their opinions. I will admit Ariana can sing but her songs are very generic still and doesn't give me a connecting feeling when I read her lyrics. Aurora is the complete opposite. Its not that we're being hateful it's just her music isn't for us.

Lol judging a piece of art as good/bad ruins the whole purpose of art. You don't know what "good music" is and no one does, it's purely subjective.
I don't necessarily like Side to Side either but Aurora didn't say it's "bad music", she just didn't like it, and not only is it a mark of humility, but staying subjective is also a way to respect the artist who made the song and the people who like it
Uhm, some of Aurora's songs are pretty highly produced too, maybe to the point of overproduction. She just tries to stay more original with her overproduction (and she can perform them all live without the overproduction and they sound even better).

Ariana has a fantastic voice, but her music is pretty dense. She deserves better than the crap she's been given. Perhaps she should right her own less empty music.
Red R0ver Well Ariana accepts that kind of music, Aurora always will prefer that her music belongs to her soul with magical lyrics and instrumental even tho she's not that famous, Ariana prefers being famous with trash pop music.
I first found Aurora's music on Pandora. I loved the song, but I never really bothered to listen to much of her other music.
So one day, I thought I'd give it a shot and I did. I spent most of my day just binge watching her music videos and listening to her music and I Loved It So MUCH!!! I only recently started to watch small documentaries of her, and I found out that she is literally awesome and amazing.
AND THE FACT THAT SHE LIKES DAVID BOWIE MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!! YOU HAVE SUCH GOOD MUSIC TASTE AURORA!!! ♡♡♡

I love just the way she speaks. She's such a cautious speaker, but in a way that she's not limiting herself. Rather, she's soft like a fey, and she doesnt need to speak any harsher or stronger. She's strong enough and she lets her music speak for itself. How is she not a goddess amount humans?
