Ate there on our last trip to Tenerife. One of the best breakfasts we had. Lovely service too. Lovely views down to the sea.
Hey Everyone , I run the social media for both of these restaurants, and we always love having a familiar face in , Great Vlog and Great Review , You will have to return some evening when the real busy service starts ! Cocktail shakers flying and a great bunch of staff ! We all love what we do at The Ginger Pig and The Thirsty Turtle Tenerife ! 😍😍
Highly recommend both Ginger Pig and Thirsty Turtle. We have eaten at both on many occasions, dinner at The Ginger Pig is a must and the staff are amazing.

Multiple coffees, fresh juices and latte’s, also sides for baby etc!
€1.50 for a plum tomato ( 1/2 at that too ) €12 euros for 8 half tomatoes ???

To be fair, we are around this area at the moment, I thought that breakfast was a bit expensive, we had a brekkie at the thirsty turtle, although nice it was 6 euros!, one egg one sausage, mushrooms, tomato a piece of bacon, not going back to be honest.
Today we went to Marfil just along the road, jumbo brekkie, 2 eggs tomato, mushrooms, bacon, two sausages, two slices of toast, beans and some chips and a glass of orange juice.
3.75 Euros, terrific value, and very tasty as well.

I'm not a health freak but not had a tea or coffee in nearly 62 years, OJ for me or ice cold milk with my breakfast. Alex has 2 great restaurants there with The Ginger Pig & The Thirsty Turtle. My go to snack in the Thirsty Turtle is the Papas Locas, been going there since he opened in July 2019 😀

You might need to pre book if going for an evening meal. We were going to give it a try on my birthday a few weeks ago but it was completely full. We went to The Thirsty Turtle a couple of times and can definitely recommend the food there, and the staff were very friendly. Two great places that deserve to do well.
Wow you finally found that caramel latte! I started to drink caramel latte here in cafe Nero because you said you could not find it in South Tenerife:))) I can now switch back to my regular cappuccino :)))

Andrew, if you want fried bread, try the Vue. Not on the menu but they will do it. Just up from chill out towards pdla, amazing breakfast, we ate there twice in the week we were there last month.
A nice beer with your breakfast in nice lol flying out Thursday dinner hope to bump into you while we're there take care
They are the best breakfasts. Get what you want. Definitely coffee in the morning. Ooft!! Bit expensive Andrew. Looked just like a basic breakfast. But as long as you all enjoyed it. 🥰🌞🥰xxx

I'm sure the last time I was in Tenerife that site was a rather uninspiring Chinese buffet restaurant, with cold flurorescent lighting, it looks a lot better now as a modern restaurant!

This place is within walking distance from my home there, I gott try it out when I get back in january. Driven past it plenty of time lol everytime I need a taxi from las americas or los christianos, they always take the route past the ginger pig.

Loved the food in the Ginger Pig👌 think I had one of the burgers and the skin on fries were delicious 👍 you get what you pay for 🐖 the staff were excellent as well couldn't do enough for us.

Generally i would have an OJ in the morning but if i do have a hot drink in the morning definitely tea i only drink coffee at night 👍🏻

The hallomi fries in Thirsty Turtle are outstanding. Fried in a light crisp tempura batter 🤤
