Yes that seems correct, as someone who has raised cows they definitely consume a ton of water! I believe that accounts for the water used in the food they also consume. Also not to mention the methane they produce😂
17 gallons of water is likely correct. As it is not just how much water a cow drinks but also the amount of water needed for irrigation for crops which the cow eats.
Exactly. The amount a cow drinks throughout its life is thousands.
Lol no cows in Texas have irrigated grass. But they gulp half a gallon when they are thirsty.
@@konichiwa3744 Cows are often also fed corn and soy feed which is grown specifically for livestock. Smaller farms can get away with just grass feeding but larger farms need to supplement as they have many more cows per area.

Thats amazing you felt well enough to enjoy an Epcot day, Tim! At least Epcot can easily be the most chill kind of theme park experience compared to the others. The festivals are always so enjoyable and I love seeing how much fun you all have at each one.

My husband had a tooth pulled today so he's relaxing and we're watching you two enjoy all the deliciousness, and envying the beautiful topiary when Tim busts out the....ooooowweeeee, what's up with that! I love that so much of the merch has spaceship earth hidden in there. If you look closely at the "think orange" shirt it's definitely got spaceship earth hidden behind the orange. And the spirit jersey thing with the weird fabric all the beehives are spaceship earth, too. That's super cute.

The cornbread and the salmon were some of my favorites from the festival!!! Also the frozen violet lemonade- very sweet, but I'll be darned if I'm not still thinking about it.

Yesterday was my first flower and garden festival! I stopped at EPCOT Farmer’s feast and had the bison ribeye and the raspberry lemon sparkling hard tea. They were both so good! I was really disappointed with the Arancini at the primavera kitchen. It was a small portion for the price and super dry.
Was so so lovely to meet you guys on your way out of the park! Made our trip meeting you both! Jenn you said my nails were lovely and I totally forgot to tell you how gorgeous you looked and your dress was beautiful! Got a little bit starstruck 🙈 Thanks for taking the time to stop with us and for taking a picture with us 💕
The 17 gallons would be the amount that goes into the watering the crops that the cow feeds on, the water the cow consumes over its life, and the water needed to process the meat once it’s carved. Agriculture is one of the industry’s that uses most water through irrigation etc.
That was the best Snow White ever! Her voice and mannerisms were spot on!
Jenn, I was dying when you smelled the Sunkissed Citrus scent bc I was burning it in my house at that very moment! It was like having SMELL-A-VISION 😂 It is my favorite Scentsy scent, so you were right, it smells very nice. 🌸♥️

One more thing when I saw the sign that said how much a vegetarian entree would save I laughed because I knew that the odds of changing that many people's diet to where that would act those numbers would actually make a difference you would have to change a million people mindset about their diet to make those numbers actually stick.

Good to see ya'll out and about and Jenn, I love the hat. I love F&G, it's always so pretty. I'll be there starting Easter Sunday for a week and plan on trying something from every booth during that week. Staying at Dolphin and have an AP so I'll be walking over to Epcot every night.
Bacon butter is totally a thing. Bacon drippings mixed with butter and some smoked paprika...mmmmmm! When I make Cassoulet, I save the duck fat mix it with butter and fresh thyme. Some of that on crusty french bread used to scoop up some of the rich yummy cassoulet, heaven!!!
We well be there in one week. We cannot wait to try the food. I’m looking forward to trying this delicious food.

I was there opening day too! I missed you guys. I agree it was so hot and drinking around the world with a newly 21 yr old in the heat whew! As we were waiting for our lyft I was looking at the Teslas wondering if one was yours!
"Spicy mala" in itself is a description! Sometimes, it's sweet, but generally, it just means that it's spicy but in a "numbing" way! Szechuan dishes use a lot of peppercorns which is what numbs your mouth/tongue. I find that it makes water taste really sweet and refreshing!

Tostone is an unripe plantain cut, smashed and fried. (I prefer fried ripe plantains - maduros or sweet plantains.) Tostada is the "one piece nacho" you ate.

I’m so excited to go to the festival for the first time!
I was VERY surprised to hear Jenn and Tim talk about the sweetness of the mole sauce! Having spent summers in Mexico with family and eating traditional food, I've never had a sweet version. It is a misnomer to say it is made with "chocolate" if you want the non-sweet version since melting dark chocolate will give it a fair amount of sweetness.
I'm a pastry cook in the France pavilion. If you like goat cheese you should def give the goat cheese croissant a try. We got to have samples when the chef was recipe testing and I loved it!

The statistics for the Impossible short rib is not per cow, it is per serving. What that sign is saying is that a non-vegan version of the same sandwich would use 17.3 gallons of water more than this vegan version. 1 beef cow will consume 7-14 gallons per day. That does not include the water that is required to produce the feed, maintain the farming landscape, and process the meat. Also, Disney's green leaf does mean it is vegan, sort of. Disney does not use the word "vegan" to describe what their green leaf means, rather they use the term "plant-based". Plant-based for Disney means "without animal meat, dairy, eggs or honey", which is what vegan food is. The reason they don't outright call it vegan is that vegan refers to a lifestyle that also abstains from animal products being used in cosmetics, clothing, etc. I hope that helps anyone who is curious.

Watching this video and seeing your experience of new food items, I’m reminded of how our family has noticed A bit of a lackluster output from Disney from our past few trips. We’ve been out of state AP holders for 6 years and we didn’t renew last month. :(
I love this festival! Used go every year until my son started plating elite hockey. I will be at Food and Wine though and really hope to get to meet you as well. Been here a long time watching your channel and family grow. My daughter will be there in June with the Special Olympics and hopefully you get to film this wonderful event. The athletes are very near and dear to us! Will send the info as we get closer.

COOL - I LOVE Scentsy, and had NO idea they were gong to have that area at Flower & Garden!! :) Scentsy has partnered with Disney for awhile, and I just bought some of their Dumbo Circus Parade wax to melt today, and am anxiously waiting on my BayMax Buddy that I HAD to have to arrive, while warming in my Up warmer behind me! The coming together of 2 of my favorite things is SO awesome! :)

It was great meeting you guys by the mickey fantasia topiary! I had no idea Tim was recovering from a surgery! It was a HOT day. Our favorite foods were the Flatbread from Morocco, and the Bison Ribeye at Farmers Feast.

It will be nice if the characters wear special gardening 🧑🌾 outfits for F&G festival. I miss that lack of attention to details. Disneyland Tokyo do it so incredible for any special celebration.
I was there opening day, but missed you, would have loved to see you both. Liked the Maple Popcorn shake, disappointed with the caramel beignet, liked the chicken kebab in Morocco and their beer/cider flight.
