Great video. Just ordered the X370 with snow blower. I look forward to watching the video again before next winter. Nice airplane!
Thanks so much for this. Referred to this today as I was installing the snowblower to deal with the first storm of the season when I couldn't quite remember a few details from last year.
I know that feeling! I do the same just about every year...
You are my go to every year!
I see you in my stats! Watch time on that video jumps up in November. :-) I watch it too every year.
snowblowing your runway with that? Life goals: have house on airpark property with a runway and an airplane, lol.... love it!
Only a little, around the edges! That would be a long time to sit, at 44" per pass. :-)
Thanks. Is that L shaped bracket bolted to the side of the hood (7:53) supplied with the snow blower kit? I just brought home a new x380 with the blower kit but it does not have this bracket mounted.
Are you talking about the chrome arm to which the chute control attaches? That should come with your kit, but it's mounted down below the deck near the operator's left toe somewhere, not to the hood. It gets installed then left in place, so although I did install the blower for the first time myself, I don't recall details of that mounting point.
Great video! I have it saved! Do you know how to adjust the blower? When installed my blower installed it doesn't sit flat. Thanks!
Yes I do! First, make sure the skid plates are both correct. I sat the scraper blade on a metal yard stick and dropped mine to the floor. Second, adjust the big nuts on the drag links which go back to the bottom of those triangle plates. Although it would be surprising if it were really off.
@@cardinalflyer Thanks for the response! The skid plates won't even come close the floor. I know I could adjust the nuts on the drag links. Not sure that would help much. I broke a sheer pin today, looking for that part number now.
