Actually I take this trailer as an example how you shouldn't make a trailer. First off, there is upon the very last moment not a single indication this definitively is set in Morrowind. Yes we have Dunmer and Morag Tong assassins and Dwemer ruins as they are common to Morrowind. But you know, all this stuff existed outside of Morrowind as well, and especially the design of the Dwemer Animunculi and the ruin looks so much more like those of Skyrim than of Morrowind. Why not create Dwemer ruins looking like those in Morrowind, or, if you don't want to, place this assassination in a city with typical dunmer architecture? You know, actually showing us actual ingame designs instead of simply flashy colours and effects in an environment that could be anywhere. Also, lore wise this is hard to believe. There's no way this fat guy stayed head of the Morag Tong long enough to get that fat. After all if you start lacking you will be executed by someone who wants to succeed you. Then, by scaring off the caravan they actually left witnesses for a black contract. Why not seduce some low key member in killing the leader, then kill that guy, and disguise it as normal hierarchy struggle? There, typical dunmer behaviour, that wasn't all too hard is it?

The ONLY people who complain about ESO are people who either A) were looking for Skyrim Multiplayer or B) have never heard of or understood the concept of translating a single player experience to an mmo. Go PvP in ESO it's one big lagfest. Totally unplayable. Zenimax promised to fix it but after two years they only added more bugs, more lag and even worse balance to the game. This studio doesn't even know how to make a working online game.

ESO isn't part of the main es series, and it's *not* supposed to play as if it is. And as someone who started playing the series with Daggerfall, I don't mind the gameplay at all. Eso expands on Elder Scrolls lore beautifully, which considering it wasn't made by Bethesda - is amazing. The only people whining were the fools expecting some kind of "Skyrim Online" game. And because they didn't get it, they're making the most loud and cancerous uproar that will never end.
Bethesda have input on the games direction though and if they was doing a Morrowind remaster then they mot likely wouldnt do this. So well played to them for giving us something Morrowind related.

Redguards and nords are the same in a way, culturally they prefer to use weapons but would obviously have a many people in their race use magic, tho I think nords culturally actually hate magic while redguards simply don’t prefer it.

For those of you who don't know, this is one of the only lore-friendly Elder Scrolls Online cinematics. Sometime before the end of the Planemeld, Naryu Virian uncovered a plot within the Morag Tong, which if achieved, would transform the Tong into more than a mere league of assassins, it would make them powerful enough to allow them to replace the heads of state that were once able to force them to go into hiding. It was known as the Simulacrum Rubric, named after one of the items they sought to obtain, Sotha Sil's Simulacrum Rubric. It was orchestrated by seven influential members of the Tong who called themselves the Seven Secretives. The plan involved a coordinated coup to take over the Tong, which Naryu would not allow happen. Naryu sought an audience with the Tribunal god Vivec, to be granted a Tribunal sanction for extrajudicial execution for her superior, the grandmaster of the Morag Tong, Rythe Verano. She had discovered that he was involved with the Secretive's plot, and had ordered writs of execution for them to throw her off his trail. She discovered this despite the grandmaster having originally sanctioned the writs to the Seven Secretives. I feel a lot of people who bash this game haven't actually played it. No, it doesn't play exactly like an Elder Scrolls game, but it can't really, since it's an MMO. It's came a long way since its rough launch and I personally think it's a good purchase, especially with the recent One Tamriel update! Just my opinion tho
Ryan Masters This trailer doesn't tell jack shit. Zenimax is milking you out of your money because there's a lack of depth of content in the game. I've played it but all I do is spam skip dialogue because it doesn't matter. The questing is extremely dull, the base game was falsly advertised with these huge invasions but all we get is about 1/4 of the size of those invasions. The game is ruled over by the Crown Store, it's a pay to win. There is no real talent system it's very dull. This is why World of Warcraft will make any other mmo bite the curb.
I really enjoy ESO, the only thing that kinda sucks is you kinda need people to play with. I have a group of people that I play other games with, but only one of them has a computer that can handle ESO and that person does not have ESO in the first place. But when I compare this game to the only other MMORPG that I have played, Guild Wars 2, I begin to love this game more and more. Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved GW2, but the missions in that game where always the same old same old missions where as in this game I feel much more interested in each of my missions. (Please ignore my shit grammar for I am sick atm)
@Asylum Demon, Lmao, the game is anything but pay to win. The only thing you can pay for in the crown shop that affects gameplay other than cosmetics is exp boosters which don't do much at all. Eso has one of the most diverse "talent" systems I guess you could say. Yes there is 4(confirmed a 5th) classes but each class can play 4 different holy trinity roles and each one of those roles can be played in thousands of different way. With armor skills, champion points, passives, and normal skills, I'd say there is plenty of diversity. Yeah sure it's not WoW where you to sit in front of a mob and try to remember the 150 keybinds to each specific ability that looks the same as the other 100s of abilities. And if you haven't noticed, WoW is dying pretty bad for this specific reason. For the fifth or so time in a row they released a new dlc that was just disappointing AGAIN.

A lot of my imagination and my own personal idea of the fantasy genre got defined by ES3: Morrowind, while i also grew up with it. Morrowind was also my first Elder Scrolls Game and i loved it from the first day and still love it today. This trailer gave me more chills and more goosebumps, than even the announcement of skyrim and that means a lot, because i really jumped on the hypetrain back then. You kind of die, when you have to go through shit in Reallife, while also the world of gaming gets more and more repetitive and more casual, but this trailer, especially from 3:28 until the end of it, somehow "re-awakens" me in a way i never could have thought of. It just re-awakens my inner joy, i have to smile, laugh and be happy to live in such a marvelous time. Yep, i know why i loved ESO in the first place. I wish Bethesda could make a trailer with this type of quality for each race, like a "meet the imperials" kind of thing, or "meet the redguards"... that would be amazing and it would facilitate the choice of peopke who are starting to play Elder Scrolls and struggle to chose a race.
The biggest problem I see recently is that most of these haters on ESO expect it to be a SP style elder scrolls and think it's bad but don't realize it is an MMO. There is a large player base and over time has proven itself as a good MMO.

This game has really improved. I stopped playing for about a year, and coming back fairly recently the game feels much more like an elder scrolls game and is much more fun. tamriel unlimited with the open world and no more levelled areas allowed me to have fun completing a questline that otherwise would have been way too low level. I'm really happy with the changes they've made and I'm excited to play more. if you used to play but stopped I recommend going back and playing again
I hope they give Naryu a major role in this dlc. She's been a fun side character throughout the game so far, so it'd be nice to see her pick up a bigger role.

First off, there is upon the very last moment not a single indication this definitively is set in Morrowind. Yes we have Dunmer and Morag Tong assassins and Dwemer ruins as they are common to Morrowind. But you know, all this stuff existed outside of Morrowind as well, and especially the design of the Dwemer Animunculi and the ruin looks so much more like those of Skyrim than of Morrowind. Why not create Dwemer ruins looking like those in Morrowind, or, if you don't want to, place this assassination in a city with typical dunmer architecture? You know, actually showing us actual ingame designs instead of simply flashy colours and effects in an environment that could be anywhere.
Also, lore wise this is hard to believe. There's no way this fat guy stayed head of the Morag Tong long enough to get that fat. After all if you start lacking you will be executed by someone who wants to succeed you. Then, by scaring off the caravan they actually left witnesses for a black contract. Why not seduce some low key member in killing the leader, then kill that guy, and disguise it as normal hierarchy struggle? There, typical dunmer behaviour, that wasn't all too hard is it?
So just cus the trailer doesn't clarify you're in morrowind It's bad... That is really retarded logic man, Assassination in a city is too easy to show of as they do here, the capability of the Morag Tong, as even with armed guards and in the middle of nowhere they'll find you. And the trailer isn't supposed to mirror a perfect crime assassination, it's supposed to show the skill of the art and animation team whilst displaying the new class. I'd do away with your destructive way of thinking.

ESO isn't part of the main es series, and it's *not* supposed to play as if it is. And as someone who started playing the series with Daggerfall, I don't mind the gameplay at all.
Eso expands on Elder Scrolls lore beautifully, which considering it wasn't made by Bethesda - is amazing. The only people whining were the fools expecting some kind of "Skyrim Online" game. And because they didn't get it, they're making the most loud and cancerous uproar that will never end.

redguards don’t hate magic they just prefer not to rely on it (unlike altmers or bretons) and if they do use it they would use the normal socially accepted kind like destruction (fire/ice) , Restoration, alteration or maybe illusion, they would not use the dark stuff like necromancy, there might be a few who do like the redguard necromancy from Skyrim who wanted to bring back her dead husband but most don’t.
Redguards and nords are the same in a way, culturally they prefer to use weapons but would obviously have a many people in their race use magic, tho I think nords culturally actually hate magic while redguards simply don’t prefer it.
ESO has stepped it up since last I played. I think "Beta" and gave up on it. Came back just recently and I'm enjoying many hours of it.

For those of you who don't know, this is one of the only lore-friendly Elder Scrolls Online cinematics.
Sometime before the end of the Planemeld, Naryu Virian uncovered a plot within the Morag Tong, which if achieved, would transform the Tong into more than a mere league of assassins, it would make them powerful enough to allow them to replace the heads of state that were once able to force them to go into hiding. It was known as the Simulacrum Rubric, named after one of the items they sought to obtain, Sotha Sil's Simulacrum Rubric. It was orchestrated by seven influential members of the Tong who called themselves the Seven Secretives. The plan involved a coordinated coup to take over the Tong, which Naryu would not allow happen. Naryu sought an audience with the Tribunal god Vivec, to be granted a Tribunal sanction for extrajudicial execution for her superior, the grandmaster of the Morag Tong, Rythe Verano. She had discovered that he was involved with the Secretive's plot, and had ordered writs of execution for them to throw her off his trail. She discovered this despite the grandmaster having originally sanctioned the writs to the Seven Secretives. Vivec granted her request and provided with her an ally, a warden by the name of Boldekh, who wanted to bring Verano to justice for his involvement in the death of his partner. They tracked him to Sadrith Mora, where they spotted a Telvanni mage teleporting him to the Clockwork City and him vanishing along with the portal. They convinced the mage to give them passage to the Clockwork City, and once there, they tracked Verano into a mechanist's workshop where he obtained one of the items needed, Sotha Sil's Simulacrum Rubric. He spotted them, panicked, and summoned a portal back to Vvardenfell. Naryu and Boldekh followed him through it and emerged in Mudan Ruins. Argonian guards were waiting for him there but fled when an army of Dwemer Animunculi appeared out of the ruin. A Dwarven colossus appeared out of the ruin, blasting it apart and immolating Verano along with the satchel that held Sotha Sil's Simulacrum Rubric. With the combined efforts of Naryu and Boldekh, they destroyed the colossus. Naryu severed the grandmaster's head and took his skull as a trophy to take with her as she sought out to carry out the writs of execution on the other traitors.
This all happened while the Vestige was in Coldharbour, or shortly after the Vestige's return.

I feel a lot of people who bash this game haven't actually played it. No, it doesn't play exactly like an Elder Scrolls game, but it can't really, since it's an MMO. It's came a long way since its rough launch and I personally think it's a good purchase, especially with the recent One Tamriel update!

Ryan Masters This trailer doesn't tell jack shit. Zenimax is milking you out of your money because there's a lack of depth of content in the game. I've played it but all I do is spam skip dialogue because it doesn't matter. The questing is extremely dull, the base game was falsly advertised with these huge invasions but all we get is about 1/4 of the size of those invasions. The game is ruled over by the Crown Store, it's a pay to win. There is no real talent system it's very dull. This is why World of Warcraft will make any other mmo bite the curb.
I really enjoy ESO, the only thing that kinda sucks is you kinda need people to play with. I have a group of people that I play other games with, but only one of them has a computer that can handle ESO and that person does not have ESO in the first place. But when I compare this game to the only other MMORPG that I have played, Guild Wars 2, I begin to love this game more and more. Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved GW2, but the missions in that game where always the same old same old missions where as in this game I feel much more interested in each of my missions. (Please ignore my shit grammar for I am sick atm)
@Asylum Demon, Lmao, the game is anything but pay to win. The only thing you can pay for in the crown shop that affects gameplay other than cosmetics is exp boosters which don't do much at all. Eso has one of the most diverse "talent" systems I guess you could say. Yes there is 4(confirmed a 5th) classes but each class can play 4 different holy trinity roles and each one of those roles can be played in thousands of different way. With armor skills, champion points, passives, and normal skills, I'd say there is plenty of diversity. Yeah sure it's not WoW where you to sit in front of a mob and try to remember the 150 keybinds to each specific ability that looks the same as the other 100s of abilities. And if you haven't noticed, WoW is dying pretty bad for this specific reason. For the fifth or so time in a row they released a new dlc that was just disappointing AGAIN.

A lot of my imagination and my own personal idea of the fantasy genre got defined by ES3: Morrowind, while i also grew up with it. Morrowind was also my first Elder Scrolls Game and i loved it from the first day and still love it today.
This trailer gave me more chills and more goosebumps, than even the announcement of skyrim and that means a lot, because i really jumped on the hypetrain back then. You kind of die, when you have to go through shit in Reallife, while also the world of gaming gets more and more repetitive and more casual, but this trailer, especially from 3:28 until the end of it, somehow "re-awakens" me in a way i never could have thought of. It just re-awakens my inner joy, i have to smile, laugh and be happy to live in such a marvelous time.

I think it is strange how differently she is drawn here versus how she appears in game. Her facial structure and skin tone are way off in the trailer.

want a good morrowind experience? get it on pc and load that shit with mods for better graphics, more content and items, there's tons of cool mods for that game and awesome player made areas that took years to make. It's so much better than the base game, which is the best Elder Scrolls imo but I wish I had more voice acting. Actually, there might even be a mod for that lol

What a beautiful trailer! I wish Bethesda could make a trailer with this type of quality for each race, like a "meet the imperials" kind of thing, or "meet the redguards"... that would be amazing and it would facilitate the choice of peopke who are starting to play Elder Scrolls and struggle to chose a race.

That Morrowind theme at the end, god its been so long.
The biggest problem I see recently is that most of these haters on ESO expect it to be a SP style elder scrolls and think it's bad but don't realize it is an MMO. There is a large player base and over time has proven itself as a good MMO.
I want to see more of this warden character in future expansion trailers.

This game has really improved. I stopped playing for about a year, and coming back fairly recently the game feels much more like an elder scrolls game and is much more fun. tamriel unlimited with the open world and no more levelled areas allowed me to have fun completing a questline that otherwise would have been way too low level. I'm really happy with the changes they've made and I'm excited to play more. if you used to play but stopped I recommend going back and playing again

I hope they give Naryu a major role in this dlc. She's been a fun side character throughout the game so far, so it'd be nice to see her pick up a bigger role.
