DVD summary:
Volume 4 of the Kantner Collection is the conclusion of the footage filmed from the early 1970s to the early 1980s
In this volume, we look at waning years of the anthracite railroads and progression to the inevitable formation of Conrail
Under Conrail, Arch and Bruce captured the varied, colorful lashups on the main lines and branch lines into the Conrail blues
Due to quality control issues with film and processing, they ceased filming in the early 1980s
Sit back and enjoy the series finale of their tour of northeast railroading as told by Mike Bednar
Narrated with commentary by Mike Bednar. Color; approximately 42 minutes - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Back it was real railroading!!
Loved the plastics tug...,🤘
Fantastic documentation by the Kantners!
I really enjoyed this segment of the Kantner collection, so many great diesels of that era......SD45's, C628's (especially the LV 630 unit), and other Alco's and EMD's and early GE's. Great videos, thanks.
Great footage. I can almost smell the fresh blue paint. Love the NEPA scenery.
another fantastic episode from Kantner..that you can't help but enjoy.. thank you again for taking the time to offer and share this. Tom
Keep them coming I remember the Erie Lackawanna coming through the Oranges in NJ
Very nice. As always.
This Soo Line fan has a soft spot for LV and EL. Great sound dubbing on these videos.
The sound is authentic. Not dubbed

There was a train in the intro that was REALLY wobbling.
Did you guys ever use the branch that went to Cooperstown? I saw , and explored it when we came east to play baseball.
At 3:39 where does the wye go to?
Are any of these scenes with actual audio or is it mostly or all dubbed over sound effects?
Cool footage! What song did they use in the intro and credits?
It is royalty free music from Smartsound for producers
@@JPMediaRR Do you know the name of the song?
.... The fireman on 7602 at 2:52 gave the cameraman the finger.
