Drvenik Veli is a tiny but inhabited island located in the middle of the Adriatic, northwest of the island of Šolta and only 1.8 km from the mainland. It is connected to the mainland with a ferry line from the nearby town of Trogir. The only settlement on the island is also called Drvenik Veli and here live only 150 permanent inhabitants.
The coastline is made up of numerous sand and pebble beaches which are characterized by crystal clear water in the bays such as Solin, Drvenik, Mala Luka, and Grabule. The most famous bay and beach on the island is Blue Lagoon (Krknjaši) located on the southeast part of the island, where you can enjoy pristine nature, a shallow and calm Adriatic sea of spectacular turquoise color.
Accommodation is offered in numerous private apartments, rooms, and holiday homes whose owners will offer you local delicacies.
