Man has time gone by, I loved watching this movie when it came out. It reminds me that we only get one chance in life, and Steve Irwin's quote as the albatross still resonates with me to this day. There are days where I want to relive those moments of childhood.
R.I.P. Steve Irwin He played two characters in Happy Feet Elephant seal and the seagull everyone did not notice it was him talking but I’m so delightful that he did one of the voices before he died and that movie was tribute to his memory

The reasons I grew up wanting to work with animals and educate people on the wonderful world of these amazing creatures was this man right here I miss him so much

16 years ago today, Steve Irwin died at age 44. This scene which IMO should have been kept in the final version tells us to enjoy life while we can. As a result, he went doing what he loved, and the film which came out just two months later was dedicated to his memory. In the finished product, he voiced an elephant seal named Trev. Let us all continue to enjoy life while we can. You hear that, Steve? We'll do it for YOU!
They should have kept this albatross scene at least. 0:33-41 When Steve voices Trev you can't recognize his voice at all. 1:31-3:00 When he voices the albatross you can. RIP Steve Irwin and Robin Williams.
Very sad that we lost a great man for the environment the day Steve Irwin died. All I can say, is he died doing what he loved and no animal was harmed in it, it was just sadly time for him to go. I still think they should have put the scene back in... but it may not have been enough time, and it didn't really help the movie along... If anyone remembers his show, the vehicle that finds him on the beach almost looks like what he normally drove. Anyone else catch that his name was on the movie's dedication list in the credits (Right at the end of them)?
