Watched this after seeing Oppenheimer and hearing the reference to the sonnet.
Your analysis was just enough. It wasn’t over Donne.
That’s a lot for this ! Lovely on point analysis 🎉 surely making notes to enhance my own reading
Miss could you please give us tips to the students who does e.lit. And what are the stationaries I should do while learning.
How I understand and fall into e.lit ?
Brilliant! Thanks for this analysis ❤
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Awesome
hey! so sorry for the random comment this is entirely unrelated to the video, but i was wondering if you could check my book choices for the open ended essay? i don't have a whole lot of options, but i wanted to do lord of the flies, the great gatsby, and great expectations. do you think those are good?
however, i heard it's best to have a shakespeare work as one of them, but i'm not familiar with any... should i switch one out? is there any that i can read on short notice?
Is there a volta?
thank you for make it easy for us carly, since we are students of english study in morocco .
we will be thankful if you analyse the Novel "UNDER THE GREENWOOD TREE " BY thomas hardy .
THANK YOU 🙏💕
Marvellous
loved your overview with the book, Carly... I like this poet very much, but found this poem a stinker. It felt to me like a muddle of mixed and sometimes vague metaphors from a showy word-drunk narrator more than any kind of sincere cry to God. And who in all sincerity, other than some religious nut, would ever ask God to beat them up so that they become more devout? And does he even know what he's asking God? Maybe he should enjoy the gentle stuff - all that shining, knocking, breathing, mending - while it lasts, because the alternative is probably on its way and is devastating.
Enemy means Satan.
