Great video! You're missing a few, though. Unless I'm blind, Wolf Fang is nowhere to be seen, and if you're going to include 3D rail shooters, then Sky Target is missing as well. I suppose you could go one step further and say stuff like Solar Eclipse, but personally i wouldn't since you can "turn around" and arent on a fixed path through the stage. Still, this is a great chronological list, love it!!
it's an auto scrolling game with a single unit that you can move to avoid in coming fire, the gameplay is basically a shmup in the 3rd dimensions. a 3d shooter would have an open environment you could explore.
