This is incredible, I’m currently going through the *exact* same scenario. Having my ACL graft and screw removed next week. So glad I found this video, to say I’m relieved is a big understatement!

@@findthetruth3021 Like Lena, I had arthrofibrosis (excessive scar tissue) that severely restricted my range of motion. I couldn’t bend or extend my knee very much at all. After I had my ACL graft and screw removed and after hundreds of physical therapy sessions, my ROM (range of motion) finally started to improve. To this day I still can’t bend or extend it all the way, but it’s way better than before the graft and screw we’re removed. I often contemplate having another ACL reconstruction, but like Lena, every time they go in for surgery I just get more scar tissue, and would risk losing my range of motion that I worked so hard to get back. It’s very frustrating, I still have a slight limp due to not being able to bend or extend all the way, but overall I’m happy with where I’m at.

Had a complete tear with a partial meniscus tear but was able to live with that a whole year without any issue at all apart from my knee feeling loose... I was even playing soccer but with caution...however, I chose to have the surgery later due to the panic I had after reading stuff online and also my insurance was willing to pay..... it’s been almost 6 months post Op and I’m still not feeling as good as I was when I was without surgery probably because I did poor PT.. I hope and pray it gets better with time

My ACL in my left leg is completely severed and my MCL is stretched and scarred. I've been denied reconstruction surgery due to having Ehler's-Danlos type tendons. I was pretty down about the diagnosis but after watching this video I think I can manage somehow. For background, I'm an active duty Marine, so I have to run a lot and it seemed for the past few months that this injury would be a career ender. I'll see about getting a knee brace made so that I can continue. Thank you for putting up the good fight!

I just tore my acl about a month and a half ago. Along with a slight mcl. I was schedule to have surgury after the mcl naturally healed. But my knee got to feeling 90% normal so I decided against it. I raced my first motocross race last weekend without any affects. Been running and rehabbing it myself. My range of motion isn’t 💯 but it’s close.

I tore my left one when I was 16-17 and never had it repaired. I’m now 38 and very active guy. I do construction lifting heavy stuff. Play softball as I’m a softball coach for the school and race motocross. They do ache at night after being in the same position for hours but nothing that isn’t tolerable.

Wow this is so crazy to finely hear of somone without a ACL. My son recently got hurt in football about year and half ago he is 13 now but we thought he tore his ACL and come to find out he was born without a ACL in either knee he had a surgery to fix the hurt knee they went in and put a ACL in his knee about 7 months ago so now he had one in one knee and not one in the other knee. Showed him your video and he thought it was so cool to see a bball player can play without ACL that is his favorite sport and we are hoping to get him back on the court soon..

I had Acl surgery ten years ago and I sprain my knee these years every now and then. Luckily my acl didn't get injured that much but somewhat it's been kinda loose somewhere between grade 1and 2. I was told by the doctor that the risk of having Osteoarthritis will increase if having a grade 2 injury without getting a surgery. I don't know if it's true or not. Does anyone here has the same experience?

I torn my left knee Acl totally along with meniscus five years ago in a soccer game, but I did I went to see a doctor 2 years later. The doctor then told me that there is no need for surgery as my knee has adapted and built some supportive tissue around the knee. I was given permission to practice sport. Since then, I have decided to stop playing soccer, and I moved to just working out. I have been taking extreme caution when moving my knee. Unfortunately, three weeks ago I torn. My other knee Acl and I went to see a doctor and he told me that I should have a surgery on both knees otherwise there is a big risk of developing arthritis especially on my left knee, so I really regret not going under surgery 3 years ago.
