There’s an npc in act 3 that’s a reference to the cabbage man from Avatar, so talking to him with this build would be fitting

After over 200 hours I finally stumbled upon him in my second playthrough. Absolutely awesome reference you gotta love baldurs gate 3 for that alone

gosh. once u realize how many iconic characters in anime are monk based u start to appreciate how bg3 devs crafted the subclasses for it so beautifully to fit any style you want.

(I'm actually gonna try this Aang build for a Korra playthrough cause why not? Although I'm thinking of adding Barbarian in or Light Cleric instead of Nature Cleric.. hmm... I need to do a little tinkering around...)
If you think about it, Orpheus is basically ange i mean he was sealed away until he was freed, like ange was freed from the icebruge and orpheus is technically the chosen one sense he is the only one who stops us from getting controlled from the nether brain kinda like how ange was strong enough to stop the fire nation kinda cool

@user-ip6yy7kn1o I say this. I entered Bg3 with NO IDEA of what character to make until I decided for the Death Knight. Even tho my Friends said I can choose whatever I want, I didn't completely understood on HOW much it was true until I found this canal. You really can decide whatever you like.

I have Aang with lightfoot halfling (twinkle toes :p) monk with six levels of monk 4 elements and then went 2 levels into storm sorcerer. Wear the warped headband of intellect Carry the club of Hill Giant strength for 19 stg. Graceful cloth for Dex max of 20. And sentient amulet for shatter and restore Ki. Also using the disintegrating nightwalkers for the Misty step. Maybe I could do it better. But I went to Acoylte instead of Folk Hero myself. Also went to the tavern brawler feat as well.

I'd improve it with druid initiate for shillelagh so you can use that staff with your wisdom for attacks. Kinda wish wildfire or primeval druid was in bg3- those would probably be much better than nature cleric.

Just out of curiosity, why is a high wisdom stat so desireable? I noticed that with a good amount of your builds.
Monks, Druids, Clerics, and Rangers all benefit from high Dexterity for different reasons.

@Xalem13 Well you said "a good amount of your builds" so I interpreted your question as a general inquiry.
Regarding Monk, or specifically this build which is Monk/Cleric, Wisdom benefits by adding AC from the Monks 'Unarmoured Defence', your Way of the Four Elements abilities, and also effects your spellcasting modifier for Cleric spells.
Now I want to see so many characters 😂 like Scarlet Witch, Phoenix, etc. 😂 Nanami 🤔

wasted a bunch of stats by not respecing after getting the dex gauntlets
Just assume people have respecing figured out at this point and we don't have the time in a 60 second short to hold hands.
Originally started at 12 DEX but wasn't able to hit much until we got the gloves
@@grindgod847 Except they didn't respec after getting the gloves. Not mentioning it is one thing but they didnt even do it. You can see at the end when they increase wisdom that their dex is at 14 still during the level up when it should be put at 8 to maximise stat value.
@misekai6396 there was really no need. That is an optimization, but the build is still perfectly viable without it.
I understand where your coming from, but you already know to do it so why should we need to show it.
Everyone knows that Ability Score points are valuable and every one knows you can respec at Withers.
@@grindgod847 People who have no experiece with builds are just going to follow what they are shown and copy the stats from this video. They literally show themselves getting 20 wisdom which any person following the guide would use to check if they are doing it right. It's not too much to ask a channel publicly posting build guides to put at least the minimum effort into optimizing their builds.

if possible i would boost his charisma as much as i could. he's a pacifist and wants to avoid fighting as much as he can, preferring to try talking his way through things first. so if anyone can recommend a different ability point set up, it would be much appreciated :D
Probably swap CON and CHA if you want to do that. If you're talking your way through most stuff you may not need as much HP.
Or respec once you get the Gloves of Dexterity.
Still thinking a iroh or Zuko build would be class

I hate so many of the interesting subclasses just suck. This build is such a cool concept but even the most minimum effort, poorly optimized open hand monk build will out perform it in almost every scenario
Typically Final Party builds won't solo the campaign, but most are viable in a team of four in Tactician difficulty.

it doesnt really affect much, but we chose Mielikki since it was the only Nature based one.
Why nature cleric over 4 levels Druid?
Didn't want to shapeshift lol
Dont think folk hero is a good background honeslty, aang didn't want to be a hero and tried to run away from being the avatar.
what do you suggest?
Too bad most "fun" builds like this are only playable on the lowest difficulty tiers
