This fellow South African Mr Tshepo Kgadima is an energy genius and he knows exactly what he's talking about. We need to protect and make use of him to solve the electricity crisis in our country South Africa. I liked when he said the apartheid government's fault was just being GREEDY and RACIST otherwise they were very efficient in "energy and food security" now we have corrupt puppets who are just fumbling around with the very important sectors of the economy!!!

This is a gross level of incompetence, that is running our country.
South Africans let's get together start a stokvel and take the issue this man has highlighted to court, we can't live in hope anymore hope that what a politician will someday do the right thing. Loadshedding is a 16 year teenager and we have our arms folded. This man has done a lot of education in this podcast, we need to not just take to the streets but the courts and challenge the unlawful nature at which this country is being run.

With that said, this man requires a military around him for protection. I mean like if he goes to Eskom and for him to turn it around as he outlined (which is technically sound by the way), I can see organized crime trying to eliminate him.
God please protect this man for us 🙏🏿

I feel the loss that Tshepo explains in this episode because I have worked at PetroSA, and at SAPREF. I still don't understand why the SA government would allow the top refineries to go. How can importing be best than generating energy within the country. People lose jobs under promise of money (retrenchments) but all that is not sustainable. When Engen burnt down, what a loss too for Durban people and the country. Our politians are indirectly killing us.

A great conversation. The comments on the "ownership" of seed is brilliant and an outrageous scandal. Seed is the gift of God and NO MAN or Organization has the right to IP over seed. We need to break out of this slavery to the western hegemony... but replace it not with another political ideology such as socialism (in my opinion) but with Kingdom/Biblical truth and how it works it's way out in all aspects of our social and national life. Thank you for the depth of the insight into the energy sector. Ntate Kgadima is an inspiration and I'm honoured to have had this time to listen to him over and above all the other conversations on the news channels. Its time for the people of this country to stand up and fix it. The politicians will not do it for us.

Dr Hendrik vd Bijl also started Yskpr.
The reason for their success was that they spend all the money on the projects and not eating it..

Thank you for such an insightful message and I just pray that we can have more leaders that have a conscience and a servant's heart to serve their people and not too enrich their pockets may God raise those leaders and may South Africa as a nation return to our God in repentance. GOD bless you Sir and all South Africans.

I salute you sir, for a brilliant and accurate analysis of the South African predicament. Many of the details were half buried, half remembered… your exposition gives a clear picture of our malaise, cutting through the obfuscation, prevarication and ideological smoke. Respect!

Very difficult information to wrap one's head around. An imminent blackout (that could go on for three weeks) is something I don't anyone ever saw coming. It's bone-chilling to think of. However, thank you very much for this - it's been very insightful!
