The orchestras are always my favorite part about x.0 streams, hoyomix never misses in all of their games

5.2 gap is so random. Like, it is early and can be literally anything.
1. A collab patch.
2. Mare Jivari + a long world quest to fill the plotholes.
3. A random map expansion like Dragonspine (Dornman port when?).
4. If they don't consider an AQ interlude as an AQ itself, it might be the actual battle festival or Capitano's backstory of coming to Natlan.
God, I'm hyped.
I really hope it doesn't mean that 5.2 will just be filler

I think it would make sense for the Durin resurrection to happen in 5.2.
Since it's not in Natlan, it might not be considered a part of the "main story" (and be an Interlude Quest). 5.2 is also December, which the first two years was the time of Albedo's events
When did they say there’s no natlan quest in 5.2?
5.2 is predicted to be released at November 20th. so that will go through December til New Year.
So... who knows? maybe they'll do Christmas?
They posted an explanation about the Capturing Radiance in Hoyolab. To my understanding, it's basically 55/45. Capturing Radiance is an occurrence, which means if you lose your 50/50, you get another chance to win it again with odds of 10/90, if it shows the fate symbol on the glow, you win the limited character but if it doesn't, you either win or lose, so it's better if the emblem appears which means you are guaranteed. I'm open for corrections to this because this is just surface level and I read some of the comments in Hoyolab and they have some indepth explanation.
Correction: its just an update to the wish animation wherein the New flashy Wish Will appear when you get the Banner Character, otherwise, you'll know you have lost the 50/50 if it was the regular 5* Animation Gold animation.
Only Applies in a 50/50 situation, in a "Guaranteed" situation, you'll get the regular Gold Wish animation.

5 chance to trigger the "event" causing to get the promotional character.
45 chance to not get promotional character
So it's basically a 2nd guarantee system (Capturing Radiance) just in case when you lose the 1st one (50/50 system) and it's by chance, so it may or may not activate. But since they said the 2nd system won't affect the 1st one, my question is what happen if you get the banner character from the 2nd system, does that mean your next pull will be the guaranteed banner character too? Because, even though you win because of the 2nd system you did lose from the 1st system.

My guess for how the traveler gets the Pyro Element, is going through the story and unlock from either the finale or middle of the story like Trailblazer.

The reason the tribes in natlan are 6 not 7 is because one of them lost their ancient name during a fight with the abyss over a thousand years ago.
Each tribe represents an element as we know since multiple people from the same tribe share the same element but in the nation of pyro and war we have no pyro characters at all announced aside from the archon…hmmmm.
I believe the children of murata were the pyro tribe that “are never allowed to come back” as the trailer says.
I sorta lied earlier since there is ONE Pyro unit other than the archon confirmed…the traveler.
We will inherit the ancient name as the natlan ost talks about inheritance and resurrection as we are resurrecting a dead tribe as its new leader.
As Mavuia is a maori goddess we can assume her story will share some similarities and I believe its with her help this is possible, we the traveller represent maui brining the flame (tribe and name) back to humanity.
Each nation brings a title, I believe it should be Flame bringer or more fitting for the travelers overall asthetic to say “Light bringer” but its easily interchangeable its just that the second represents Lucifer better but they’re easily the same thing.
As the leader of the pyro tribe we should get a major boost in power somehow to justify the power scaling in sneznaya and khanreah so I believe that we will take over the role of archon in the nation but have Mavuika as the one still ruling the nation.
These are my theories mixed with abit of copium at the end regarding more traveler love as this nation is the only nation in the travail trailer to mention us directly by name.

it's genshin, at this point people just have a kind of "grudge" at the game and the devs for no reason

You should play Simulanka quest! It gives important Durin lore at the end, and Wanderer gets a development! Albedo also appears at the end!
Idk where but somewhere in the livestream they mentioned that the main Archon Quest will be in versions 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3. Idk if it means the main story will be 4 versions long or they're taking a break in 5.2, but i think this is very interesting.

Nope, lantern rite is 5.4 and port Ormos i guess. Natlan will be having longer AQ maybe because we're getting close to the end😊
58:47 says that the Major Quest after 5.0 are 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3. So yeah we might have Act 6 or 7 AQ

People might not know this, but if you lose to a non-promotional weapon, that pity does carry over to the future weapon banners. So as long as you are good with both weapons on the banner, there is no losing involved even if you have a fate point that may get lost.
It’s the fate point being carried over is what we mean by “lack of pity carry over”

I just wanted to say that I understand people who said to stop complaining about rewards etc.
After all, Cai Haoyu was the game director and as someone who plays Honkai Impact you should understand what that means
but now that Dawei has become the director of Genshin it finally makes sense to ask for improvements and give feedback

The devs themselves said on the Natlan stream this was specifically thanks to the feeedback left by travelers meaning had we not constantly have given the feedback to improve rewards
They would not have realized how wanted or needed this would’ve been.

Dawei saved Honkai at the time even though the game wasn't even 1/3 as popular as Genshin and with him directing the game now he will do the same

Left the game near the end of Sumeru, tired of it after waiting for so long. Fontaine completely flew under my radar with pretty neglegible changes.
Now *this* is how you make old fans reignite the passion for the game. They barely got my interest with Fontaine's but this Natlan livestream got my full attention. I genuinely want to know how it is and if they will continue improving further.
Granted it was a little too late, competition was the best Genshin has ever got coming and this effort from its devs is a testament to that.

Good patch, we finally getting (returning) to status quo. Tho they can do even better in terms of QoL and the game but they will be stalling as much as they can, too bad.

I know exactly what u mean, Dreamer. I complain & criticise things about Genshin, such as the lack of skin tone diversity in playable characters, because I love this game & want it to be the best it can be. Like it can rly annoy me sometimes, but there's a reason I've been here for 3+ yrs now.
Pyro Archon hair is amazing but not her outfit it doesn't even give me the vibe of God Of War which is why I'm disappointed with this particular Pyro Archon.

For some reason I feel really conflicted about Natlan, I hope it’s good, but I waited for something “Darker”, and most of the characters look pretty cheap for me…
Well, “Darker” (especially right from the start) isnt always can be more fun or interesting (but i get what you mean cus many didnt expect Natlan to seem like this after hearing and thinking litiral "Nation of War" and not some "Flower War" or etc) and GI awlays done it a bit differently with its genre and stories, initial presentation included (so to say its also only 1 half PV). Anyways we have Capitano group and Mauvika so on that im think they deliver somehow after setting things up. Im sure there are more distinct characters coming, like 1 more secret one was even teased back in Fontain with Nuive drip marketing - Xbalanque(tho its uknown to whom or to what exactly this name can refere to or is there connection with 'Scarlet-Eyed Hero').
Thats how i feel currently but we will see.
