    I've tried NXT and Sensation. Sensation is considerably better for the arm which provides an even softer feel. I would highly consider trying Sensation over NXT and is less expensive too.

    That Snauwaert graphite racquet sold the same day the blog was posted. It must be a rare collectible!

    Started playing in 1967, Babolat wasn't on the menu for gut strings when I played tournaments. I do remember Victor Imperial and from Australia- Klipspringer.

    Yeap, Yonex Poly Tour AIR is my goto string right now. Just can’t drop much money on gut or even multifilaments. The AIR is soft and good feel to it.

    Have you ever tested the stiffness rating on kevlar strings ? I know 4g is one of the stiffest polys but what about kevlar? Thanks!

    Does anyone had problems with babolat VS breaking in head prestige mp 18x20 before even having a chance to hit with it? 2 strings broke on top mains

    How would you compare Yonex Poly Tour Air to Head Lynx Touch? Thanks!

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem +2

      We are testing Poly Tour Air right now so will be able to speak to it further in a week or two! So far, initially, I feel like Poly Tour Air allows me to feel more connected to the ball and pockets even more than Lynx Touch. It is one of the softest strings we've tested in a while!

    Should have included a SynGut option if it's for all levels??

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem +2

      Even for a beginning level player, the multifilaments mentioned are good choices. If you want something a bit cheaper in price, you could check out Head Velocity or Wilson Sensation; value multifilaments. For synthetic guts, Gosen OG Sheep or Alpha Gut 2000. Troy, TW

    I am really confused on this graphite pro. A few weeks ago, I bought one saying it’s prestige alike pj but graphite pro underneath. This week, you get one with graphite pro pj. But didn’t say if it’s pt10 or what. From same player, this is confusing.

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem

      The Graphite Tour here is actually a Graphite Pro (USA version) which was formerly available in Black/Red and then Teal. The racquet is a David Wheaton pro stock. I remember seeing him back in the day using the Teal. He may have used the Black/Red version before that? Either way, he stuck with that frame through several paint jobs. Hope that helps. Cheers, Chris, TW.

    What about Wilson Natural Gut?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem +1

      That's a premium option for Natural gut, however we prefer the Babolat VS, it is the original and hard to beat in terms of performance, feel, and quality. There is also the Luxilon natural gut, which is a popular option as well, and a bit more durable, and is designed as a good option for those who hybrid with a poly. Troy, TW

    how about rpm soft?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem

      Definitely a softer option, maybe not one of our favorites, however the string choice has a lot to do with personal preference. Troy, TW

  • @dragunovx93

    On the Yonex string packs, it says Polytour Air is a “hard” string and Polytour Pro is a “soft” string. Are these mislabeled?

    • @trungmaster

      Haven’t played with Air but PTP is definitely soft to play with

    • @tenniswarehouse

      I think they have since updated the packaging on Poly Tour Air! But I could be wrong, we are taking a closer look...PTAir is definitely one of the softest strings we've tested!

    • @whuang03
      @whuang03 Před rokem +2

      Yes is mislabeling on the web images. I been using AIR for few months now, the real package saids “Soft+” on it. Is definitely soft string

  • @glademaster

    What's the difference between Wilson NXT and NXT Power? Is the NXT Power actually more powerful?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem +2

      They are both very comfortable feeling strings, but the NXT Power has more fibers inside of the string, making it slightly softer, slightly more shock reduction. There is also a difference in the core material, which increases the tension maintenance of the NXT Power. Troy, TW
