Crazy Bus Ride in Maiori Italy

- We caught a bus from Minori to Maiori.
The driver was not having a great day so was pretty cranky. The bus was full so my hubby and I had to stand by the front window of the bus with nothing to hold on to.
It was a hilarious ride, as well as a bit nerve wracking.
But we came out of it laughing so hard!
Look out for a car touching the bus and a lady driver reversing on to a bike ride, as well as a jogger running in the middle of it all!
Just love Europe in the Summer!
4:34 the driver was saying "I don't know why you come here with your car if you can't drive" so nothing against women in particular
hey thanks for that. I don't speak Italian and wondered what he said. I can totally understand his frustration because he is trying to do his job. And tourists sometimes just don't know how to drive in those tiny roads.
@@suzannewatkins5330 You are welcome! Anyway even if you knew Italian it was impossible to you to understand what he was saying, because he was talking in Neapolitan dialect, totally different from standard Italian.

@@suzannewatkins5330 What do you mean, how are they suposed to drive, the Bus driver is the one that is bullying his way through, he is using his horn two curves away, what is he expecting, the cars to vanish, people should be more considerate of euch other
@@Itsme-ie6bp The bus honks to make its presence known to drivers coming, that's not bullying. And you're supposed to drive not like that car, having an awful perception of the space around you, but knowing where you can fit and where not, being flexible and not doing rushed manoeuvers. As the bus driver said, if you don't have great driving skills, don't drive in the Amalfi Coast (and any other road like that), practice a little bit. And this applies to everyone
That's nothing, our driver swore to the 'idiots' drivers, scooters and stupid bus drivers in neapolitan dialect. He drove the tours bus like the Monaco grand Prix. At the end of the drive I gave him a tip with: Please light a candle to St. Gennaro. He thanked me and laughed.
The best ride is with a scooter!
too bad you didn't show all the way to maiori. in the early '60s, as a kid growing up in maiori, i broke away from my mom to cross the road to the pier, as a slow driver was coming down the road from minori. my mother always said i was lucky the driver wasn't italian, or i would have gotten killed. LOL.
Aww it is a shame. but im glad you made it out alive hahaha. i don't know if you went to Capri and MT Vesuvius.. I also have some bus rides in those videos that might bring back some memories.
im having a slightly car sick from watching this video reminded me first time on a car with very bad driver

where ist the problem? in our country people drive a bit more sportive wo why busses should go slow? stay relaxed nothing nothing nothing has happened not even touched one car or scooter!

You are not italian you cant understand, traffic jam EVERYWHERE cause of tourists, i live in the centre of rome, and litterally everyday is a traffic jam because of some idiot who doesnt know how to drive. There isn't space for streets, so you get what we have, and if you don't know how to drive there... JUST TAKE A FREAKING TAXI, we have to work, we have to do different things than seeing our beautiful nation when we are working. And if you work driving a bus trust me that these idiots who doesn't know how to stay near to the border to make 2 car passing would make everyone hungry.

Che siete tutti autistici per strada, io abito a via aurelia a roma e te dico fermate i down che ci stanno quanto mi fanno smadonnare, non sapete guidare prendete i mezzi, se il limite è 50 non devi andare a 20 per dio. E se sei un autista servi per spostare persone da punto A a punto B in un tempo decente, se ci metti 6 anni a causa degli incapaci a cui hanno regalato la patente mi pare pure normale che si incazza.
