Nice vid and a good representation of what I was looking for. Looks like you made the best of it. I have a trip planned specifically to catch tuna and this gives me a good feel for equipment and conditions. Not impressed by that Capt tho. So I know which boat to stay away from. He was on my nerves thru the screen..lol.
Nice camera work and thanks for sharing

Thanks! And it is an awesome experience. Once you find the dolphins, you are guaranteed tons of tuna. We could've gotten more if we didn't spend a lot of time trolling to Marlins, which is better around the US winter time,if you Marlin.
But the crew on this boatbwas pretty top notch, but I'm sure most of them are out of Costa Rica.

Looked like it was a well known spot, what was making them hold there?

Not a spot, just found a pod of spinner dolphins, and usually the yellowfins are always under the dolphins. We would run in front of the dolphins and drop the baits and we would get hit like within 5 seconds. It was pretty epic to see.

@@CHOPSUEYFISHING got it! So all those other boats I saw were all working together to find them then. I figured it was like the Marathon hump or something

@@ericdavi1231 yes,all of the captains there know each other and they all work together. One of them actually radio every one and told them where they found the dolphins,so we ran that way and there were already 6 boats there. And we all took turns coming in and hooking up. Pretty impressove over there. It's not like some charters here where people get super pissed off at you for fishing close.

@@CHOPSUEYFISHING I know right! Opposite of how we fish the gulf! You don’t say a word when you find the fish 😂😂
