Trying Out My Very First TOM FORD Lipstick!!

- Who spends $56 on a lipstick?? Well I just did and wanted to make a video sharing my thoughts and first impressions as I tried out my very first Tom Ford lipstick purchase. I wanted to share my thoughts just in case you’ve ever been curious about whether a Tom Ford lipstick is worth the hype.
I will link the actual lipstick below in case you want to check out the other shades offered. (I chose the shade "Casablanca"). I would also love to hear your comments if you own a pricey lipstick and if you think it’s worth it?

That color is beautiful and looks so great on your lips! I bought one of the Tom Ford lipsticks from their 'boys and girls' collections on the Tom Ford website. Those lipsticks are a little smaller so the price is $36, which is a lot easier to splurge on. I can't wait to hear how you think it wears.
Thanks Anna - I do truly love the color. So far, it definitely doesn’t last 8 hours on me like it says on Sephora but luckily I don’t mind reapplying pretty shades of lipstick 😉. Max it lasts around 2 hours but I do snack a lot!!😆😆
I did spend $125 for the Lisa Eldridge "Go Lightly" lipstick (second hand). Unfortunately, color needs adjusting with lip liner for me. It was an impulse buy lol! You inspired me....I just ordered "Casablanca". I have never had a Tom Ford lipstick before. If you love one or two expensive lipsticks they will save you $ in the long run (you won't buy as many cheaper ones, hopefully).
I just had to Google that lipstick by Lisa and it does look beautiful! I like your train of thought for investing in the $$ lipcolors. But as a makeup artist I do like options so I’d be broke if I kept buying Tom Ford ones!!😆
Those 2 are expensive brands but good quality
I hope you update us with how it performs! I have spent $36.00 for a lipstick before, and I must admit I liked it! I think gift cards are meant to be used for indulgences. What are your fave lip liners? Always enjoy you and your videos.

And I do love this lipstick, however, I’m not sure my budget will allow for me to consistently buy one at that price point! But I love the luxury feel, just not practical for me to repurchase.
But yes, I ALWAYS use gift cards for indulgences instead of practical buys!! Ha!😆

$56 ????? Wow! Looks very nice on you. I have never own TF I have bought a Lancome 💄 did not use it much it dried my lips. Prefer L'oréal. Quick question what color is your hair? I love it
Thanks so much! It def is not drying, (thank goodness for that price!) but I’ve ALWAYS been a loyal L’Oréal lipstick user. My hair color is done with the balayage technique - I ask for warm golden tones thrown in with my mousy brown natural hair! Ha!

Thank YOU for noticing the camera quality and editing! And if $$ lipsticks make you happy, I think it’s a smaller expense than some habits you could be taking up, so enjoy them and don’t feel guilty one bit!👍🏼 it’s nice to be seeing peoples mouths and smiles emerging from the mask wearing.
