Filipino dishes are meant to be eaten with rice, that's why they think it's salty. They should eat it with rice!!! We normally don't have a lot of dishes while eating. Most household only have one dish + rice in their meals.

it's actually quite ironic cause when i went to korea, they eat curry with LOTS of curry but little rice so it was too much for me but the korean person kept insisting that that's the way they do it! i guess if it's spicy they don't mind the salty taste that much?

The foods that are "salty" are the ones that you should eat rice with. Also sinigang has a unique taste that also comes with the tamarind that's in the broth itself. I swear sinigang will forever be my favorite thing be it shrimp, pork, fish, beef sinigang

And how many filipino are watching these?❤
