5/5/21 Update: Please note this recent Blizzard policy change: us.forums.bliz... which seems to mean that RoundRobin probably should be avoided (thankfully Wob has that function as a separate binary so you don't have to use it; you can even exit wob after laying out your windows and turning on the window10 accessibility feature of focus follow mouse; before playing so you can play truly with 0 software)
PS: This is recorded in 1440p, make sure to select the highest resolution and full screen when viewing

Okay, this is pretty awesome that you made this. I fired back up 3 more accounts (I was just 2-boxing since November by tabbing back and forth between the windows) and it's working great. I really appreciate you doing this.
If you get a chance, could you make a vid on how you've set up MAMA and Dynamic Boxer (or if I'm just missing one you already made, point me in that direction)? Right now, I've just got a hotkey macro to follow the toon I always have as leader, but your setup is definitely better. I installed the addons and tried to work through it, but I'm jacking it up. haha

1. If key broadcasting isnt legal any more: how are the other characters instantly following and assisting dps?
2. Are they assisting your main character using macros and round robin? Looting?
3. Do you have to spam your "dps key" 5 times in order to get all 5 characters to fire their spell?
4. Which addons (if any) are required to make the following and assisting of targets smoothly?
*a guide on how to setup 1 "dps button for all the characters and have them assist your main character"
*a guide on how to "spot heal" from the healer character, would be cool too.
(i guess you could use a different "dps button" and in that, have the healer heal a spesific character in the round robin rotation).
+++ so many questions still... maybe a fully detailed guide while doing a 5man dungeon, explaining how everything is done, would help me decide if should try return to playing wow or not.
For 1. yes I press 5 times my dps key to get all 5 to do something. Follow on the other hand is a MAMA addon feature, it sends an addon message and as part of the standard wow lua api, you can follow a character, without (so far) requiring a hardware event
For 2. macros and round robin for dps. For looting I usually set FFA or Master Looter. For quest items I switch main after 1 has completed.
For 3. yes 5 times but as you can see it goes fast
For 4. I use MAMA, link is in the description of the video
I will eventually make more video, hopefully others will too. Next one I'll try to use my mixed team with a healer, I usually do click healing so would probably drive from the healer

Nice, awesome job with the code. Round robin seems the best way to go with multiboxing. There's also some shortcuts you can do with the "FME" party command to make everyone follow main character, spell macros etc
MAMA in game addon (and/or EMA), linked in description is a better way to have follow and assist

Now this is super interesting to control multiple characters on MMOs
trying to setup LOTRO for 3 box 2 monitors, mouse broadcasts to 2nd but not the 3rd box, RR does not broadcast, figured i must have something setup wrong but this doesn't explain any settings
what is the follow key you never explain that. Also when I round robin it doesnt spam attacks because the enemy isnt targeted on the other screens. Are them macros you have set up that you didn't explain?
Any idea if this is compliant with the newest blue posts? They seem to be cracking down harder on anything that helps facilitate multiple accounts working together. I think the round robin mode is pushing the limit on what they want to allow now. I use the non RR version for setting up the game windows and then close the program while playing. Idk, wondering what you think.

The non RR version should be fine. And if truly worried you can exit wob entirely after placing windows and before playing. You can keep mouse focus on despite exiting in the option menu (and also turn off auto pause)

Are you pressing the key once each time for each toon? If you're only pressing it once I think that might be against ToS or at least in a grey area where I don't personally want to be.

Your application is really incredible, but I wonder... Is there a way for the right click to work and for everyone to right click simultaneously? I'm on Runescape and the right click is really important here

Many questions, how do chose which windows it will run. you say you click a hot key after you launch each window. which is it? also, i cannot unclick one of the 4 game options, i have wow checked for now but i play gw2 don't know if that's a problem. Finally, i just need normal key broadcasting. It is not banned in gw2 yet so, am i watching the right video? Did i get the right software? i don't know anything.

Thanks alot for making this introduction and for the tool with code etc available. This is a great effort you have made! Is it possible to use it for Coop purpose? So one key0oboard mouse control one instance, a controller an other instance etc? This would enable us to play ~multiple friends on the same system together!

It looks great, very nicely designed. Have you considered using mouse scroll wheel for your dps ability? Plus with the Logitech g502 mouse with the free-scrolling wheel it would be really easy to spam it. I was also curious with whether action on keypress down and release was possible?
I think the mousewheel works specially but I haven't looked yet sorry. WOB doesn't send keys so there is nothing action wise on up vs down beside what the game is programmed to do?
Not sure if you already have this, but maybe you could add a feature for healing? For example, let's say you have 4 DPS characters and 1 Healer, you only want to change to the healer when HP is low for some of the characters. Round robin wouldn't be optimal for that I think.
you can drive from the healer and make a RR rotation that skips the healer (only goes to dps) and click or mouse over heal when needed
How do I make my characters attack or input keys. 8’ trying to run mage/lock team on classic.

I was having lag issues with poor exchange of windows with large stretched screen a few seconds after changing screens. Also could not delete old profiles so i deleted my open box thinking I had messed it up with all my changes. Now I cannot redownload it as it comes up as unconfirmed download. So it does not have a folder to extract. And is the rr not available anymore.
Just re download the latest release zip if you deleted everything and have no backup. Next time you can just remove files that have settings in the name instead of everything.

I understand the auto-follow is done by MAMA through (still legal) game UI means - I used to have EMA, but it is no longer supported by its author, and not working in TBC. Have you tried MAMA in TBC pre-patch? And does it require another addon (dynamicboxer)?
Yes mama and dynamicboxer have been updated for burning crusade classic (make sure you get the latest releases)

Target on one and I have /click MamaAssist in the macros of the others which my adding does assist the current lead
For me it happens that is being bugged and main window begins to broadcast all buttons to other toons disregarding the exclusion list of buttons. What's the reason?
You are lucky, for me only clicks were working and were so buggy it was impossible to synchronize

@@MooreaTv well broadcasting kinda worked but it sends key clicks and not holding (i understand there are system limits) and also works only on apps without basic protection. The game i want to multibox is pixel worlds from steam
@@cupcake_toucher445 keys are broadcasted including holding them etc, ie if you press arrow for 3.65s all characters will move for exactly 3.65s. Mouse clicks unfortunately are just the click because the mouse needs to be actually moved for the game(s) to register the mouse event
how did you move the round robin indicator, you clicked something after you typed in a number. what do i click?
You click the "Overlay Config" button than look at the X/Y mouse over help: For X: 0 is left 1 is right of the screen, for Y: 0 is top and 1 is bottom

I have a question possible improvement while having all three screens up is there a possible way to alt tab to work on things in the background for some reason I cant alt tab to work on my discord/ Pandora internet explorer when my 3 screens are up or do you know what I'm doing wrong
Maybe you accidentally check "Stay on top" on your windows so they stay above the others? open the layout and click on the gold pin to untoggle that and save and apply. Alt tab should work fine (remember to turn off RR though)

Since i see all 3 dps fire the same moment and your not switching screens, how can i achieve the same result?
I am currently leveling 3 hunters and switching between screens and casting is a nightmare....

It’s not “at the same time” if you watch and listen carefully, I just hit the key multiple times fast and the focused window change after each key press. It’s the optional Round Robin mode built in wob. No other software or addon needed for that.

Come to discord to troubleshoot this. It works fine for hundreds of people so we should be able to make it work for you too with some details

you can use @player to cast without reticle or use focus follow mouse mode and click in each. if your turn both RR and mouse focus windows10 will actually move the mouse cursor in each window as well.

So sorry to bother you again, but as I am completely computer illiterate , I do not know what to do with the updates. I do not know where they go and how to insert them. This is basic simple stuff but to me it is scary. I have these folders on my desktop from many times One is back up folder I guess the other is fix. What to do with these is just unknown for me. How to apply? Would a complete new install be best for me to do? Computers are just suppose to work is about my knowledge. If you do not have time or patience for such newb instructions I understand. Thank you in advance. Love what you have done. It is amazing and you saved wow for me as was ready to just quit.
Updates are automatic, just go in Help menu and check for Updates and click ok.

I loved isoboxer. It was simple. This is not so simple. I do not like not switching screens. I want my screen to switch to focus player ... Very bothersome when focus player dies. Is there a fix for that? I would love to continue with isoboxer without the broadcasting. Maybe a separate setup for Wow. I would continue to pay as I love the swicthing screens and how simple to set up. This is too complicated for a someone who has no computer knowledge.
I am not sure I understand what you mean, please read the help content. Wob supports all the same window switching as Isboxer did, and is actually a lot easier to use than isboxer. If you want to explain your issue in more details feel free to join our discord.

Is there a mouse click for changing windows.
While the key binds to swap windows, or round robin to avoid even swapping, are the recommended ways to efficiently multibox, if you must use your mouse and move it twice and click to perform something, then yes that mode is also supported, check the overlay config UI.
Can I change anywhere the round robin key combination? for ctrl + shift + r my hands are too big xD
Yes all the hotkeys are changeable in settings. I recommend clicking “Help” and reading the page at least once.
Personally I have my Logitech G1-G5 doing Ctrl-Shift-F1-5 for instant swap and G6 to Ctrl-Shift-R to toggle round robin.

Am not able to log into multiple accounts at once it just disconnects the first one I guess I need a network thing to do that as I have not done this before
@@GenericGamePlays-gy7nn you need to have multiple subscriptions to world of warcraft, to multibox. ie wow1,wow2, etc... then you can log in one of your character from wow1 at same time as one from wow2

Started to use WoWOpenBox on classic era server, got to lvl 13 with my toons and got banned by using key broadcasting software. The software is nice, works great, but blizz will ban you anyway. :(

10minute into the video and you still explain how to arrange the windows, this part of the software is way too easy to understand to waste 10min on it! Move on faster its not nessasary.
I start at 3:50 so it’s 6 minutes showing many layout options as well as discussing other details. But I am glad you find it intuitive as that’s the goal. Many people wanted a video though.
