    Yup San Antonio knows tacos...4 for breakfast, 4-5 tacos and beans rice and more tacos for dinner. All with flour tortillas, yummy, yummy look at all the fat tummies in San Fatonio!!!

      Tacos are not fatty if done the normal way. If the recipes are altered and made with too much oil and cheese, it may be tasty, but it will make you fat.

    one little comment would be, your flour tortilla needs to be homemade or, well, what can I say ?

    One of the best street tacos I’ve had was just outside of Hong Kong Gentlemen’s Club in Tijuana. Smoked asada taco with guacamole salsa, cilantro, and some other stuff (probably chihuahua meat too). Just across the street is a pollo frito street stand that gives you very crispy fried chicken, roasted jalapeño, corn tortillas, and some other veggies.

    There are so many stray dogs and dogs dumped by owners in San Antonio that the animal shelters kills many sweet adoptable dogs every day. That is uncivilized.

    You can ask to hold the cheese, or not fry the tortilla, and make sure to add the veggies to make them normal and more healthy.

    Yet the city doesn’t have good old fashioned street taco carts downtown or places where tourists can get a quick and easy and delicious street taco.

    • @ramencurry6672
      @ramencurry6672 Před rokem

      I love street tacos but those are not unique and they are easy to find in many other major cities in America. You go to San Antonio to eat something different that you normally don’t find back home…..unless you live in a small town and have no access to good street tacos, there is no reason to eat street tacos in San Antonio

    • @robertescobar7781
      @robertescobar7781 Před rokem +1

      @@ramencurry6672 you have no idea what a real street taco can be if you think they can’t be unique. the “famous San Antonio puffy taco” so far hasn’t impressed. And the beloved “breakfast taco” is laughable. I’d take a breakfast burrito over that any day. Now think if we had taco street carts or food truck venders around all the tourist spots and each vender has their own take on these tacos. I’m sure that would change your mind and get tourists really talking about the tacos of San Antonio. Because believe it or not outside this small cute city you’re only known for the Alamo and the spurs. No one gives a crap about the “taco” scene here other than the locals.

      @@ramencurry6672 then take that and then imagine what could be if new bright minds come up with exciting new street tacos. But not just any street taco, ones that make SA unique and have tourist talking about the flavors you’ll only find in Downtown SA.

      @ramencurry6672 Před rokem

      @@robertescobar7781 My favorite street taco is the head meat and the tongue tacos. But those types of authentic Tacos won’t be popular in mainstream tourist areas. So i would probably drive an hour away to look for it.

      No.. only if you ask for it. I never seen a taco with cheese and been here for over 15 years. It took us a couple of years to find good flour tortillas in Dallas because most people there were southern Mexicans and flour tortillas are from the North of Mexico.. now a good restaurant (in Texas) MOST have good flour tortillas to succeed.
