In the opening text, it says public performance of it is expressly forbidden. I wouldn’t think that would be a big issue then. Maybe they anticipated CZcams longplays.
Loved the graphics on this game as a kid. The rotating planetary systems map on the conn blew my mind. Sadly I never did beat the game so I'm looking forward to seeing the ending here.

Congrats on the Nakatomi win. Every old FAQ for the genesis version says the mission is bugged and unbeatable. A rarity to see at least one other person wasn't deterred and saw the mission to completion
it looks awful, crap, dreadful, garbage, horrible, rubbish, shit, terrible for a Micro Prose 2 MB (16 megabit) game compared to some of the other early 1990’s (1991, 1992, 1993) Sega Genesis/Mega Drive games at the time

I never beat it. The space battles were real difficult.
