  • Can artistic freedom survive in American universities? This exclusive Director’s Cut segment of Free To Speak confronts this question head-on, exposing the bureaucratic challenges and moral dilemmas artists face on college campuses. Multimedia artist Serhat Tanyolacar shares his experiences of having his thought-provoking works, which address issues of racism and political corruption, censored at multiple institutions. Host Nadine Strossen and a panel of experts explore the complex factors that lead universities to prioritize brand protection over free expression and the broader implications for society. This eye-opening segment didn’t make it into the public broadcast version of Free To Speak, and it challenges viewers to reconsider the state of free speech in American higher education and its far-reaching consequences.

Teach every young teenager, your kids,, your nieces and nephews TO THINK CRITICALLY. Propaganda in commercials is the best place to start.
Teach them to notice when they say "Our shampoo will leave you "feeling healthier about your hair". They never said your hair will actually be healthier.
My dad taught me this observation as a 6 year old and put me on the right path. Even as a kid I started picking up on how they manipulated society through branding and veiled lies.
This is a huge component in the effort to raise a smarter generation. It's imperative to the future of liberty.

It's not just about censorship; the consequences I've faced are truly inhumane. From unemployment to homelessness, the trauma of losing family members-the toll of radical activism and the exercise of our First Amendment rights in this country has become unbearable. My intent has always been to shed light on societal issues, to spark conversations about topics we often overlook. Yet, I never imagined being punished in such a harsh manner for speaking out. Since the Iowa incident, I've found myself predominantly homeless, a form of social punishment that is unacceptable in a civilized society.

Pornographic propaganda should still be free speech/press. Maybe do it on your own time?
    Politics ruins everything.
