I really like when you use the skeleton to show problems, visualizing this way is SO helpful. Great work guys, I really appreciate the hip pain series - thank you.
Thank you very much for those very useful exercises. I went on your website. The hip series is not yet available but I will be printing it as soon as it is. 👍
I am 20 years old and i have too much muscle stifnes and joint pains for my age but your videos help get trough it, so keep up the great work love you guys
I have discovered that old bicycle inner tubes make great stretch bands and have become my favorite. Tie several together for longer length. The local bike shop keeps them in a bin because they are a generally popular item. I am a follower of your channel.
I love your channel. I have Ehlers danlos syndrome so my joints need strengthening physio which I dont have access to here in the UK without paying private care. This is helpful :)
Love your videos! I used to do these exercises for months in my 20s after a hip injury. I always complained to my physio that they made my back hurt. Years later the hip injury still bothers me and ive seen other physio. No one ever addressed that i was doing incorrect form. I wish you touched on that a bit more. My back was angling too much. To this day i cant do bridges, they make my back spasm so much 😖
You helped me a lot. Thank you very much. With this pain on my hip, I had very painful movements. I learned how to strengthen my hip muscles .thanks again ❤
Can't wait to add these. I've only done butterflies and can work on my knees. But missed the importance of squeezing. I only did a few, and wow! What a difference!
Can you please do a video on how to carry boxes or awkward size things while wearing leg braces. I have CMT2 so drop foot & neuropathy. Thank you so much for teaching us how to better our lives at hime.
Thank you for your hip series! Ive injured or tightened up my left hip I guess by sitting for work and school for far to long in hours and days. Pretty painful once up and moving around. Your website doesn’t have the hip series on yet. Any idea when that would be up?
I just bought those small loop bands he used for the clam and the resistance band kit with the handles. I'm very happy with the exceptionally high quality of both. I'm a lifelong fitness fan and at age 52, I am seeing small issues crop up around the sacrum, hip and lower back area. I do all the exercises they show here and they really do work. I wonder if any other kettlebell fans noticed that the last hip thrust exercise he did with the loop band looks a lot like a basic kettlebell swing? I had glutes like rocks when I was doing KBs seriously. But my sacrum started acting up, so I stopped doing them. Now I realize that I had to strengthen many underutilized muscles and the resistance bands are perfect for that. KB swings can be explosive, and even with good form you could overuse some muscles over the detriment of others. The bands keep you slow and controlled. Glad I found this videos. I incorporate many of their techniques including those of Tom Brady (whom they mention) and I'm doing really well with them.
I also want to mention that the Maxiclimber I use has been a godsend for cardio. I struggle with knee and foot pain in addition to the hips and some of the more crazier cardio programs out there start out great, but then I end up getting pain somehow. The Maxiclimber keeps your posture straight, works out all leg muscles, is easy on the knees and feet, and works out your arms and core as well. Maybe Bob and Brad can look into this great device for fitness folks who want their cardio but not the pain that can come with it.
Your fellas are so gracious and good to do this for all of us! I hate to do something similar with my little kids on the floor only they were Pony riding on top. Never should have stopped doing those things haha maybe I wouldn't have this problem
Love you guys.. yep did these w PT 2 years ago.. then my L5 is acting up so hip exercises hurt my back. My older Chroparactor only using thera gun on back Gees now getting sictica pain down legs only after waking up . What do u suggest for these 3 issues now ? Thank you sooo much🙏🙏🙏
I love these exercise for piriformis…..Does anyone know if it is possible to have piriformis issues isolated without any back problems? I know Sciatia is related to lower back pinch nerves. But what about piriformis ….without spinal stenosis or pinch nerves , Is it possible to have piriformis. ?
In all seriousness-- I fell off the back of a tow truck when hit from behind by another vehicle- and I hit my hip on the steel bumper on the way down- then the vehicle I was hooking up came back into contact with my truck pinning me in the middle- I have hip, knee, lower back and other injuries-- from 99 and STILL haven't got them right.. I think some of this may help-- never saw it like that before.. thanks.
I have one leg shorter than the other one and the shoe meld helps but there's a lot of pain down the side that won't go away. They said my knee doesn't bend properly and I think if I bend it th pain moves down to the foot and I have to remember to bend the knee.
Question: are Asian squats hard on your hips or should I practice a bit every day ? My right hip is sore all the time. I’m wondering if it needs strengthening
Bob, Brad. What's best for arthritis if hip. Standard upright bike riding. Recumbent bike riding or walking? I know swimming is best but can't afford it.
@@cha2117thanks for the reply smart Alec. I'll start that project under my rented 55+ community mobile home. As soon as I get that next stimulus check.
I have RA and Osteo in my hips, so getting on the floor to even attempt a bridge is out of the question. If I could do that, I probably wouldn’t have the problem to begin with. No bridge for this gal.
There is nothing like washing and waxing the floor on your hands and knees to keep those glut’s tight. Ugh! I’m exposing my age. If I ask my house keeper ( who is 28 ) to get on her hands and knees; well go figure. Love your advice, I do practice it and have improved greatly. Keep up the the good work!
Search up another video on hip thrusts. You are not supposed to support your weight with your elbow. Instead find a shorter bench and rest on your shoulders blades instead of your elbows. For even less stress use a cushioned bench/coach for support. I promise there’s zero strain on the shoulder when done this way
The table they used was way too high. The hip thrust is best done on something that is about couch/sofa height (you can even remove the cushion on the sofa if you aren't very tall). When you come up, your body should look like a table top - i.e. stomach completely flat and 90 degree angle with your knees. This video is a good explainer - czcams.com/video/DPvZP6Sv2nc/video.html
"Bridging", shoves the upper spine into badbad posture, and, "bridges", do not contract the glutes correctly because the glutes attach diagonally - not vertically.
@@Soulbirdami Well, I want to recommend my class - 18 exercises around the whole hip socket but we aren't here to promote me. So,I recommend actions that contract the glutes, against gravity, diagonally.
I realize cross-promotion is rude, and I appreciate your restraint, but can you provide a small piece of data about your practice that would show up in a Google search?
Oh my so fun to think you do all these things when you're raising toddlers on the floor playing with them or lifting them! Haha strengthening engineered by God😋
no if it was the glutes then y do I have no pain over the years at in the left hip. I.m trying, you know that tennis ball in a sock for back knots (works great BTW) in my hip, found a sore spot. see how it goes. Bob your ROM (range of motion) on the squat is still very poor. thinking may be from floor hockey 40 years ago.
TAI CHI is EXCELLENT for hips, knees, etc. too.. it's similar motions for martial arts done VERY slowly and under control....MUCH better than that STUPID yoga... yoga is straining and useless-- tai chi- slow controlled motion and all natural motions not WEIRD postures.. MUCH better.

This comes just at the right time
For me also.
Ass to grass squats with light weight did it for me, pain caused by being tall in world built for halflings.
I think being tall is ignored a lot.
Halflings! Love it! A new word for me.
My legs are so long I literally can't do ass to grass, but squats definitely helped.

Thanks for these exercises. Your hip series on your website says “coming soon”. When will it be available?
I was looking for it as well
I thought this was part of the hio series!
Me too. The hips series is not available
Omg I'm having this problem right now!😣😫😟
Can you publish the PDF for the work on weak hips

Your microphones need to be louder. Great information, I'm going to try these.

You can also do hip bridges lying on the bed.
