    Love your videos! I used to do these exercises for months in my 20s after a hip injury. I always complained to my physio that they made my back hurt. Years later the hip injury still bothers me and ive seen other physio. No one ever addressed that i was doing incorrect form. I wish you touched on that a bit more. My back was angling too much. To this day i cant do bridges, they make my back spasm so much 😖

    I just bought those small loop bands he used for the clam and the resistance band kit with the handles. I'm very happy with the exceptionally high quality of both. I'm a lifelong fitness fan and at age 52, I am seeing small issues crop up around the sacrum, hip and lower back area. I do all the exercises they show here and they really do work.
    I wonder if any other kettlebell fans noticed that the last hip thrust exercise he did with the loop band looks a lot like a basic kettlebell swing? I had glutes like rocks when I was doing KBs seriously. But my sacrum started acting up, so I stopped doing them. Now I realize that I had to strengthen many underutilized muscles and the resistance bands are perfect for that. KB swings can be explosive, and even with good form you could overuse some muscles over the detriment of others. The bands keep you slow and controlled.
    Glad I found this videos. I incorporate many of their techniques including those of Tom Brady (whom they mention) and I'm doing really well with them.

    • @kristinludlowUX
      @kristinludlowUX Před 3 lety +1

      I also want to mention that the Maxiclimber I use has been a godsend for cardio. I struggle with knee and foot pain in addition to the hips and some of the more crazier cardio programs out there start out great, but then I end up getting pain somehow. The Maxiclimber keeps your posture straight, works out all leg muscles, is easy on the knees and feet, and works out your arms and core as well. Maybe Bob and Brad can look into this great device for fitness folks who want their cardio but not the pain that can come with it.

      The table they used was way too high. The hip thrust is best done on something that is about couch/sofa height (you can even remove the cushion on the sofa if you aren't very tall). When you come up, your body should look like a table top - i.e. stomach completely flat and 90 degree angle with your knees. This video is a good explainer - czcams.com/video/DPvZP6Sv2nc/video.html
