    My mind boggles. Amazing bike. For those that want the latest and can afford it.
    I can't, and much like smart phones I manage with a cheaper handset that actually does everything I need.
    But still an amazing piece of kit.
    Ride safe, happy travels 👍

    £23,000…! Eye watering.. the world has gone stark staring mad..

      Primarily because want to pay that much. If the all the top end of the market got together, and said, Ducati, we are NOT paying that much for any bike, Ducati would have to drop their pants. But, nope. They probably have a waiting list.

    Why didn’t Ducati place the 30 liter tank and a 17” front wheel on a “grand touring” model???

    • @KNR6292
      @KNR6292 Před 11 měsíci

      Why not give it a real paint job? Bland color & flat finish? Is this really en vouge now??

    • @cpuuk
      @cpuuk Před 11 měsíci +1

      That, is a very good question.

    • @hyperthunk
      @hyperthunk Před 11 měsíci +1

      Exactly that, plus the rear cylinder kill in low revs. That combo of things with a 7" front would be far more tempting. Not worth the asking price with that paint job.

      @drmengawyong Před 11 měsíci

      Can’t see why they didn’t put large tank and 17 front 19 rear for a GT stupid really

    I have test the multistrada and the pikes peak. The pikes peak was so mutch beter. So why not a 17 inch front wheel and a 190-55 on the back. A 30 liter fuel ⛽️

    I would imagine that the cylinder deactivation is just a software update. They need to do that before the bike goes to market.

    Thats a lot of money! Bike prices have rocketed in the last few years!

    Got back on my old 2014 Tiger Sport 1050 the other day, forgot how much I enjoy riding that bike. It even has ABS and self cancelling indicators😂.

    Only one real question on the table- will it tempt people away from the new 1300GS TE? I doubt it unless that also comes in at silly money level.

      @Ducatijay72 Před 11 měsíci +1

      It will for me, I have a xr that broke down 3 times this year, once with a £900 fuel pump fitted, the bits I've seen of the gs I honestly think they have missed the boat, yes these are expensive etc but with the 9000 mile service and 36000 odd valve plus four year warranty it was no brainer, I was very tempted with a tracer, I know it's a good bike, I owned a mt09, but they just didn't do it for me looks department

    But what size is the fuel tank?

    • @SpecterSeventy2
      @SpecterSeventy2 Před 11 měsíci +6

      Unfortunately, it’s the smaller original 22 liter size. Definitely not what I wanted for a “grand touring” edition.

    I ride a fully stacked V2S and saw nothing here to make me want to change. Like Mary Poppins, it's practically perfect in every way.
    I don't want intrusive radar controls, the extra weight or the reduced mpg.
    Your thoughts on which is the better bike for most riders?

      @andrew.storriemclean403 Před 11 měsíci

      The V4s.owned the V2 briefly. Loved it but these are just another league. Only demo if you’re committed to buying👍🤪

      I actually rode your bike, but didn’t think it was worth the extra $6500 AUD over the VStrom 1050XT. I found the engine on the Strom was better with a smoother low end, and a better gear shift. The V2S had better suspension, but that was the only thing that stood out.

    Wonder what your profit margin is on that. High. £23,000 deosnt get you metal fluid reservoirs, though. Penny pinching at that price is ridiculous.

    I emailed Ducati (Winchester) to book a test-ride on a Pikes Peak & they did not even get back to me. BMW will be getting my money instead.
