Thanks for all the informative content. We obviously need to spend wisely. Still think Jackson was a steal, especially if not played down the middle, and could be a top winger/wide forward, in another year may be considered a bargain. He lacks only experience and confidence, and by all rights should have been eased into a top club like Chelsea more slowly, surrounded by more experience.

Victor Osimhen already has made his mind up for this summer. He wants to come to the Premier League. So there is no better time to sign him. What was the point in holding off on strikers in January if we don't go for Victor Osimhen. His physicality is needed in our team.

Zirkzee was decent in Belgium but isn't really good enough for Bologna to be starting for Chelsea if we need an upgrade to a striker that has become mediocre playing for us. He's a pretty good all-rounder, but we might as well just use Nkunku up front if that's what we want, since he's a proper creator and goalscorer. Tel has a great end product rate average in relatively few minutes (next to no starts), but we need a proper, established striker and not another expensive "wait and see" youngster playing for a side that's blisteringly good going forward. I'm sure there are lots of other, more experienced options.
Even someone like Guirassy would be a relative bargain. He had a release clause of just under £15m as recently just last month. Inter want around £60-70m for Lautaro Martínez. Borja Mayoral is extremely clinical and Betis want under £40m after knocking back an Arsenal bid. Dovbyk, Demirović and even Ben Yedder could be good short-term impact signings without the cost a flashier signing would demand. Anyone could be better than paying an arm and a leg for Osimhen or Toney 😭

If we get Osimhen lets get Zirkzee cos he can play any part of offensive which is a great + for us.

Nah Gyokeres is our man. Both City and United have target men type Nordic strikers. Gyokere’s qualities would suit us - he could act as a foil for either Nkunku or Jackson. He has played in England before albeit in the championship which makes bedding in easier

Joshua Zirkzee is a great player but he is the same type of player as of Jackson we need a different profile to Jackson we need a killer we need a generational talent now.
Mathys Tel profile is great I think it is better fit for us than Zirkzee because he can play wide on the wings he can play as a second striker he can be the lone 9 he is the buy especially when he isn't treated right at Bayern Munich.
Buying players only for the sake of buying wont solve the problem. The prospects should be lighting up their respective leagues and these players clearly havent proved anything. Yet again we will be spending money on players similar to DD fofana & washington. What good will that do to us?
