How can SCOTUS base decisions on what it thinks is a good idea as opposed to what is Constitutional or legal? Either presidential immunity is Constitutional and legal or it isn't; that's what it must decide, not whether or not it's an effective policy.

For example, since no law will bind what a president can do and be held accountable for, Biden could order the arrest of the Supreme Court and stuff them away in a federal prison in solitary confinement for undermining the Constitution and conducting subversive acts against the country. Feel free to look at it. Firstly in 2202, we own the records. Secondly, after the Presidency, the Archivist has the affirmative duty to bring all the records that can be available to the public forward. Thirdly, agency records are owned by the agency according to its own title in order for the public to access them. Fourthly, Trump is being charged as the Archivist per his affirmative duty asked, then subpoenaed, then got the FBI to retrieve the documents. In response to the subpoena Trump hid the documents, which is a problem because Trump wasn't President. He has access rights but not possessory rights. All the Espionage Act charges are aggravating on the obstruction charge. Per the 11th Circuit Appellate Court, none of the classified records have a personal interest from Trump, and as such, none of them can be personal. Therefore, Trump willfully retained the national defense information. All the elements that need to be proven for the Espionage Act charges. Obstruction still has to do with the government accessing its documents, and therefore, the ruling from the Supreme Court means nothing to the Florida case.

Bribery is a crime according to the constitution. It is an official act in furtherance of a private gain. That means all official acts are not immune. What's worse is that forging state documents is not an official act. The Presidency has no role in the counting of the electors. That is a role given to the Vice-Presidency as head of the Senate. Therefore, none of those communications are official acts either. What's worse is the Vice-Presidency didn't have the power either as these were certified by the states in accordance with the Electoral Count Act. No cases were open to justify a competing slate, but that did not prevent the conspiracy from sending them. Do you understand?
Secondly, Trump is being charged in Florida for the false statement as obstruction of accessing documents as well as hiding the documents that he has no possessory interest in. This is an act after the Presidency, and as such, it cannot be an official act at all.
Thirdly, the Presidency has no official duty to contact a Georgia Secretary of State, which means it is the same as the communication with the Vice-Presidency, and it is not an official act. Everything outside the judicial process were private acts. Therefore, there is no immunity.
Why does the Supreme Court need to define official acts with immunity when there is clearly no immunity here? There is no reason to do so, and as such, it should not be trying to determine a boundary when it does not know the future cases that it will be deciding.
