Defence Sparx 2022 - Progress Update

Five teams from across the Department of Defence, Army, Air Corps, Naval Service and Reserve are currently working together to develop innovative solutions to address real challenges in the Defence Forces and Department of Defence.
The teams are guided through the innovation process by innovation experts from Furthr, while being surrounded by successful innovators and entrepreneurs at Guinness Enterprise Centre. The teams have identified specific opportunities for change and are continuing to validate their solutions with key stakeholders. They are approaching the point where they will pitch the opportunity to senior decision-makers within Defence for further support to implement a prototype of their solution.
The Defence Sparx programme enables participants to develop important innovation skills and broadened perspective, enabling them to approach all types of problems in a better way.
