This video is a time-lapse of constructing a pool built in Edmond, Oklahoma. The pool builders designed and built this pool over at Prestine Pools. During the Pool Construction, over 8,686 photos were taken a 1min intervals. The Camera started filming at 7 am and didn't stop till 8 pm.

My sister, brother & I yearned for a pool growing up, but instead got a cattle tank courtesy of our dad and ya know what? It was wonderful!!!
Anything to get you out of the heat
There is something quite satisfying about watching a pool build timelapse.
It's beyond crazy how much effort goes into creating a simple pool like this.

My dad and i put in the same pool with an extra tanning deck by the stairs....just the two of us..took us about 3 months to finish....makes me feel better watching this and seeing how long it took an actual crew.
That’s cool way to put in the hard work
I like the sloping gradient entry to pools, means wildlife can escape easily by themselves. However I would have done something to visually indicate where the shallow and deep sections meet.... so people know where to cannon ball safetly...
They are very utilitarian

Always so satisfying to see when a barren surface turns into a beautiful lawn in a few hours simply by laying sod on the ground.

This is the best part about drawing, building, molding, etc... To see "nothing" being turned into something amazing
And nothing like a good timelapse to capture the process

So i just watch how a pool is built up? Okay, i can live with that.
Interesting modification on the depth there towards the end. I’m assuming the homeowner asked for that change. I’d be real worried about a cold joint there since it wasn’t part of the original shotcrete.

Wow man. Amazing pool. I want to build my own pool to one day. This design is perfect. Finally a small size pool but also has depth and small enough to put in almost any regular size yard.

I used to have a kidney shaped pool (my wife’s idea) but a wanted a rectangular one. The pool was a pain to keep clean and the solar cover fit ok but was a nightmare to put back on the roller. It really wasn’t a very functional pool overall. Also, the winter cover was a pain to deal with. Never again.
I wish it was really done in 11 minutes I need mine redone
