Yep and that's how Toyota sells more vehicles. Make it total out with deploying ever single airbag with a light impact like that
It is hard to imagine a deer can trigger all those air bags. The air bags are only supposed to deploy in life threading impacts. I suspect the deer took out the impact sensor.
Deer: That's the thing that almost hit Elmo, last week. It won't do that again, watch how I shut it down.

Video's like this just make my day, Tucker is legit a funny, warm, integral part of Matt's crew.
Next wrap you have to remove, use a steamer instead of a heat gun. The $100 ones from Harbor Freight will allow you to remove the wrap faster, easier, with less damage.
Having worked in the upholstery industry we had a pretty high grade steamer, it's amazing how many things it's useful for. heats things up without damage
I got one of those steamers. Only complaint is the small selection of attachments it comes with, other than that it's awesome.
Man after watching this again and realized that Robby and his team were working on the Golden Nugget, Mischief Maker, and Tucker’s 4Runner all while running a body shop full time. Hats off to all the hard and talented work you guys do.

Robby is one super tech. Frame straightening, total dash rebuilds, air bag codes r each speciality fields. He does them all. Not to mention welding, tire changing, and all the other demolition car building skills he has.
That is just rad. The work done, the reason, the out come, the entire who-ha. Stoked for Tucker.

Darn it, I though, maybe, you would paint it to match the wrap color. That was a real cool color of green.
That's a real cool gesture, of Matt and you, to help get Tucker out of that P.O.S Honda, that was costing him an arm and a leg, in anti freeze.
I've been saved many times by Alumiseal and Bar's Stop Leak. They've been around a long time because they do often work for a while.
Much respect to you guys. Both you and Matt seem to really take care of your people. It's nice to see employers who don't think he bottom line is the only line.
Everyone always forgets that in other countries, they don't replace parts. It is perfectly acceptable to repair a car by fixing the part instead of replacing it with a new piece. Nice work Layton Auto Body!
Cause its more practical, and cheaper to just use the wrecked car as spare parts for less wrecked cars.
When they they started stripping this car they found faults that wasn't visible.

The farther you get from the money printer the less practical it is to be wasteful.
It depends on the shop, replacing parts is one of Robby's good habits. It's better to have new parts than stressed ones covered in Bondo. Don't be fooled though, there are some guys out there who hardly pull dents at all and just fill the dents in with Bondo.

If you don’t understand why I referenced the money printer, I suggest you learn yourself some fractional reserve banking and the affects of being closer or farther away from said money printer.
Over here in Germany, a working hour from a qualified mechanic is so expensive that it is usually cheaper to replace a part then to repair it many cars get scrapped by the insurance for that reason

This is awesome, Tucker is a super awesome dude, and much deserving. We stopped in @ Winder during our cross country road trip about a year ago now, he was the only one there, holding the fort down while everyone else was at Rubicon. He was super friendly, talked to us about our route so far, and our route to go, and gave us a few pointers. Needless to say, he became my fave of the MORR crew.

The fact that Matt is willing to do something like that for one of his employees speaks volumes! Its not the first time he did something like that for an employee, close to a year ago he did similar for an employee that hit a deer on his way to help at night.

Yes, you can, I've done that but you need an empty booth/baking oven to do it and that place is pretty busy.

This is awesome to see 4Runner family 4 lyfe - looking forward to the reveal even though I was hoping you’d get it all done in one video
If anyone wonders why it cost so much to get your car fixed even from a relative minor collision, this video is perfect for them. When you do stuff right it takes a long time and there is a lot more involved than it might look like on the outside. This is awesome they did this for Tucker.
Plus airbags are expensive to buy.
I watch a lot of people who do hard work here on CZcams. But i swear, you work so much harder than everyone else and you make it look easy. Props for that.
Hey Robby!, how about a test drive on the Ephraim to Manti road and show off that beautiful Manti Temple! Even though I'm not a Mormon (imagine,) I still love beautiful architecture. Too bad they stopped doing the Mormon Miracle Pageant. It was pretty neat how the entire community got involved and people from around the world came to see it.

Love every thing you do to help people. My husband and I were in a bad accident on April 4 2021. The at fault ran a red light and we were turning left on our green arrow. The police said he hit us at 50mph. I can attest that the side and front air bags are amazing. He totaled my car 13 month ago car. I was sad. But airbags and seatbelts are great. We both walked away from it with just bruises from the seatbelts. Thank you for your hard work on making your videos
