I appreciate all the people's answers greatly.🙏🏽 But...it is kindof annoying when someone answers "hard work" for how they got to where they are. Construction workers work hard, but they aren't normally very rich. The real answer we're looking for is what specific choices did they make to position themselves to take advantage of the opportunities they came across? Like was it training, choosing a certain field or career path or making certain connections? How does one even get into owning ships or selling farmland? Or importing things like limestone?
I don't ghink you understand definition of "Hard Work" in business or achieving goals. Hard work is not taking heavy blocks from one side of construction site to another. Hard Work is when you are obsessed of your goal, putting every single hour when you are awake, every spare dollar towards it. When you sacrifice time with friends, family. When you choose to work on your dream instead of partying on Saturday evening. This is hard work.. To overcome temptation to relax, procrastinate, be disciplined, get up early, this is hard work..

As an oldie in the game, I would say it is totally recommended just that everybody must understand that the key word in it is "diversification". You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. I'll give an unrelated example; An associate of mine lost almost half of his inheritance in the very recent Luna crypto saga and now he feels investments are a scam. Personally, as one who has been into Real Estates for as long as I can remember, also I made my first million in 2017 from stocks alone (through the help of a pro though). I also experiment with a couple of other things. Imagine what the situation would had been given the current real estates market if I were solely banking on it.

I dunno… I was one of those people that didn’t care about a credit score, didn’t get any education about how important your credit score is, and I racked up debt like an idiot. I worked really hard and educated myself and I’ve brought my credit score from 480 to 732 and I’m still going up with VermontCorpLTD . I feel like the government blaming credit reporting companies instead of the lack of financial education in their own public education system is foolish.
You get there through working hard, and a bit of luck at being in the right industry at the right time, or having a serendipitous connection through family or friends. It’s the synergy of all of these elements at play.

Credit scores are just a form of federal control, so if you want to continue living a good life? it’s important to have a high score. My house and vehicles are paid off, I have one Visa card for all purchases, which gives me air miles, and I pay it off monthly, but my score bounces between 800 and 820 without changing any of my patterns, so it’s manipulated for some reason. VermontCorpLTD made it stay at that range and getting it up

Move around to find a company that is niche and fits with “what’s next” in the economy. It sounds like the tennis racket lady probably made breadcrumbs and did the job of 10 people in a small startup and rode into the retail height of the century at the perfect time.
I drove my first car in my dad's name and later went to get a truck in mine after I paid off my first one and drove off the lot with the truck I wanted, its mostly about a good credit score and a loan portfolio helps as well...lenders like to see various forms of loans in your name to be less of a risk and yes you might have to put money down but not HALF of the car loan Your exactly right I screwed my credit as a young man now I own a detailing company and can't get anything with out the full amount of cash. It’s crazy cause the older wealthy people that say hard work and put in a number of hours to "make it" is very valid, it just requires more and it ends of being incredibly draining. I will agree that taking risk and getting outside your comfort zone is huge step into getting to where you want to be.
Working hard is just one aspect though. Yes, it’s hard work, but work efficiently to maximise your time. The older generation didn’t have the technology we have today. Us younger folk find ways to work more efficiently and automate more processes to save that time but back in the day it was all about just “getting it done”. I also think the stereotype of “well dressed” suited and booted people is bs nowadays. For example that lawyer, went through way more education processes and systems to achieve where he is today, yet someone who sells tech software is earning way more and doesn’t need a degree/bachelor etc… you can be taught on the job.

I love this video, this people and examples are so valuable. Growing up without any personal contact with success, or financial success, can develop a limited mindset. These examples help my step out of that.
The first step is to choose a path that will allow you to make the first million. You need something where the income is unlimited, in many jobs this isn’t possible. Most importantly, do something that you actually enjoy and the million will eventually come as you become better in that field.
Yes..the job must have the potential to make lots of money...working in a factory putting in screws...no matter how hard you work you will never become rich...I found that the first million was the hardest...and took the longest...the rest came much faster...but I agree...you gotta work hard

@@allygaretzka2323 The happiness component is being able to enjoy life on your terms. Doing what you want, when you want, how you want, with who you want, where you want. Not only what you are allowed to do, for only how long you are able to do it, only how you can do it, etc etc. It is quite annoying when people try to justify their own lack of ambition with the idea that achieving success means you cannot be happy. Money itself doesn't buy happiness, but the things it can do for you and your family bring some form of happiness to your life. Living the life you WANT, not settle for. Peace of mind knowing you and your family are actually secured. Those are the things that bring happiness to a person.
Credit score is not something used in all countries though. In France, they determine if you are eligible to get a loan (e.g., to buy a house) based on the ratio between your salary, your expenses and your savings. Basically, if every month you 'burn' all your money, you're perceived as riskier than someone earning less but consistently making deposits to a saving account. I feel in the US people tend to buy things they don't need with money they don't have... The only times I feel one should need a credit is when buying 'big' things (house, car, etc.). Not for a TV. I’m 26 with over 800 credit score, time was put into that to build it up by VermontCorpLTD
It makes more sense to use a credit card for small purchases than cash. If you treat your credit card like a charge card and pay your bill off each month then why not use it? There's no extra risk involved and you can get cash back or points with a credit card versus no additional benefits when using a debit card.
The one thing they never tell you in these videos is they all come from a rich or upper-class family with connections to those industries. So basically these videos are pointless.
The crypto market has been Favorable for experienced traders willing to make profit. I’d say it’s outrightly wrong for investors to sit back and hold while incurring losses with major dips in the market.

Move around to find a company that is niche and fits with “what’s next” in the economy. It sounds like the tennis racket lady probably made breadcrumbs and did the job of 10 people in a small startup and rode into the retail height of the century at the perfect time.

I drove my first car in my dad's name and later went to get a truck in mine after I paid off my first one and drove off the lot with the truck I wanted, its mostly about a good credit score and a loan portfolio helps as well...lenders like to see various forms of loans in your name to be less of a risk and yes you might have to put money down but not HALF of the car loan Your exactly right I screwed my credit as a young man now I own a detailing company and can't get anything with out the full amount of cash. I'm working on my credit to get better with VermontCorpLTD , Love the knowledge keep it up

It’s crazy cause the older wealthy people that say hard work and put in a number of hours to "make it" is very valid, it just requires more and it ends of being incredibly draining. I will agree that taking risk and getting outside your comfort zone is huge step into getting to where you want to be.
High risk, high reward
Working hard is just one aspect though. Yes, it’s hard work, but work efficiently to maximise your time. The older generation didn’t have the technology we have today. Us younger folk find ways to work more efficiently and automate more processes to save that time but back in the day it was all about just “getting it done”.
I also think the stereotype of “well dressed” suited and booted people is bs nowadays. For example that lawyer, went through way more education processes and systems to achieve where he is today, yet someone who sells tech software is earning way more and doesn’t need a degree/bachelor etc… you can be taught on the job.
They also come from a pre internet era but I agree otherwise. Everything you ever wanted is on the otherside of hard work

I sort of think they can only have that attitude in retrospect. It might be easier than their other millions, but it's still incredibly hard for the majority of people.

I love this video, this people and examples are so valuable. Growing up without any personal contact with success, or financial success, can develop a limited mindset. These examples help my step out of that.

The first step is to choose a path that will allow you to make the first million. You need something where the income is unlimited, in many jobs this isn’t possible.
Most importantly, do something that you actually enjoy and the million will eventually come as you become better in that field.
Yes..the job must have the potential to make lots of money...working in a factory putting in screws...no matter how hard you work you will never become rich...I found that the first million was the hardest...and took the longest...the rest came much faster...but I agree...you gotta work hard

I love this series. The thing about “hard work” is it’s essential but still no guarantee alone. There are lots of people who’ve not done very well who have worked very hard, but it’s something that you can very rarely get away with not doing.
Yeah hard work is like the table stakes at the poker game. It's the minimum just to be in the game, but it doesn't determine who wins. And sometimes there's a really smart, lazy player at that table who wins without appearing to work hard:) that's life as an entrepreneur

Risk flows to the smartest people when there is a good return on risk. As the prices of securities rise and thus the return on risk decreases, risk flows to the dumbest people. it's basically fear of missing out.
I have a pension, very well funded 401K, no debt. We only have the normal expenses of running a house hold. But, it’s a little scary to stop saving and start spending. I'm thinking about invsting into stocks or digital-asset, putting my money into work for the first time but how are we going to achieve all that given that the market has being a mess most of the year?

@@allygaretzka2323 The happiness component is being able to enjoy life on your terms. Doing what you want, when you want, how you want, with who you want, where you want. Not only what you are allowed to do, for only how long you are able to do it, only how you can do it, etc etc. It is quite annoying when people try to justify their own lack of ambition with the idea that achieving success means you cannot be happy. Money itself doesn't buy happiness, but the things it can do for you and your family bring some form of happiness to your life. Living the life you WANT, not settle for. Peace of mind knowing you and your family are actually secured. Those are the things that bring happiness to a person.
If you like to work hard you come to NYC, totally resonated as a New Yorker.

Credit score is not something used in all countries though. In France, they determine if you are eligible to get a loan (e.g., to buy a house) based on the ratio between your salary, your expenses and your savings. Basically, if every month you 'burn' all your money, you're perceived as riskier than someone earning less but consistently making deposits to a saving account. I feel in the US people tend to buy things they don't need with money they don't have... The only times I feel one should need a credit is when buying 'big' things (house, car, etc.). Not for a TV. I’m 26 with over 800 credit score, time was put into that to build it up by VermontCorpLTD

It makes more sense to use a credit card for small purchases than cash. If you treat your credit card like a charge card and pay your bill off each month then why not use it? There's no extra risk involved and you can get cash back or points with a credit card versus no additional benefits when using a debit card.
The same question can be asked not only in wealthy areas and cities, but also at business conferences.
