At the age of 5, in his native Mexico, he learned to play the violin. At 8, he developed a lifelong love for the guitar. At 14, he honed those guitar virtuoso skills and his performance style by working as a street musician, starting his own band long after, while still a teenager. And at 22 - just before his first album was released to acclaim - Carlos Santana became one of the major discoveries of Woodstock, anchoring the famous festival’s second afternoon on August 16, 1969.
A music industry legend for 50 years and a 10-time Grammy-winning global sensation, Santana continues to be one of the music world’s premiere artists blending jazz, blues, and the Mariachi sound with a rock n’ roll spirituality and a sense of music’s primal connection to our deepest emotions.
The electric documentary CARLOS utilizes new interviews with Santana and his family alongside extraordinary, never-before-seen archival footage - including home video recordings Santana himself made, concert footage, and behind- the-scenes moments. First time I heard Santana & his crying guitar in Abraxas Album, it blew my mind together with those thundering drums

In 1970 (I was 15) for Christmas my brother gave me a 45 of Black Magic Woman. (He was 13 so how would he know?) That is my favorite song of all time. (Viva Santana double CD has it twice).

I was 14 in the year 1971 and heard Santana the first time, Saba Pati... then I heard them live in Bremen and Hannover. I danced danced danced in the front row, you sent me a kiss while playing big spot on me:-) during the years I made several modern dance choreos, the most beloved is Freedom. tx for all your wonderful music!

I have past life regression memory of knowing Carlos Santana hundreds of years ago. He was a great Shaman and Chief of a tribe of indigenous natives. He worked with the healing of the emotional body. He cleared parasitic beings from invading their bodies. He also carved beautiful flutes for his people. I was his wife and also a Shaman. I healed with Herbs and Prayers. He played the flute during ceremonies that honored the Sky Beings. He also had many Sons and they carried on his skills for hundreds of years. ❤❤❤❤

Your recent comments about LBGTQ people, children, seem to show your deliberate ignorance of LBGTQ people and perhaps the complexities of human sexuality.
