@@1stfacts542 Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't include that obviously fake clip of the drone crashing through a window and knocking over a chair.
One of my biggest pet peves is added sound effects. The "wild police chase" TV series were notorious for siren and tire noises and made them unbearable to watch.

@@picknoname3425 yes but they added the crash and prop sounds to the dji ones (I'm guessing that's what they're referring to), and dji cameras don't capture any audio. It is pretty weird to watch when you know how that footage actually "sounded" lol

I don't know. But for me as a German student a drone is 6 months of work, if you save on everything, but rent and food. That's the reason, why i am extra careful.
@@hansmuller1933 Try using a flight controller. For instance - fully equiped Pixhawk4 has fly mode for begginers, can hold altitude, has GPS and etc. It makes a lot easier to learn flying (but it comes with a price too).

This is one of the best drone fail compilations I’ve seen. Seeing the 4,000$ dji inspire fall in the water... That really sucks, I felt the pain through the video 😂
I wouldn't take my $200 drone over water. I may break a propeller if I crash it, but it's better than losing the whole drone.
People who bought it as a toy probably doesn't feel as much painful.

It’s actually a good idea a lot of the time, better than taking off from rough surfaces that will fuck up your drone. You just have to practice it and be careful, and not do it how he did.
@@mackstewart4203 yes - it's pretty easy, you just have to catch it when it's slowly going down, not at your face
I hand launch and hand catch all the time when I'm in rocky or sandy areas. But I practiced a lot, slowly, at home first before doing it in the field. It's not just about the catch, it's also largely about feathering the controls properly so you bring it down gently and slowly.

Never fly it indoors, unless you’re in a large sports or exhibition hall. Never fly it in high winds. Never let anyone throw anything at it, and be careful near water. It’s all common f* sense really!
I flew my cheap $200 drone in high winds. The on-board GPS kept it from drifting away.
Used to live somewhere that the neighbor would buzz our house with his drone.

I fly my drone over water too (mavic mini). Flying over water is completly fine if you 1. Have a decent drone (No crappy $50) 2. Dont be an idiot 3. Keep an eye on your battery level. (Drones like ones from DJI say when you should return, then just go...)
The ones that crash their drone on the railing of that yacht is actually a dji inspire. It costs 7000 euros
@@yanishommet7981 There are versions for the inspire 2 that costs that much. On the video thats a inspire 1 that cost around €1800.

The best videos are the ones where you know that the drone won’t be recovered. We had an a-hole in my neighborhood who used his drone to look through the bedroom window of little girls. He doesn’t have his drone anymore. Too bad.

1:40 that's a Syma. In my commercial drone pilot course we used those as beginner drones because they can survive a crash like that basically unharmed. That's what that drone is made for.

Drones make men lose even more money due to their stupidity than casinos.
If I ever got a drone, this is what I learned
1. Don't fly near any type of water
2. Do not fly near any animals, wild or pets
3. Do not fly anywhere near trees
4. Do not fly it near anybody
5. Do not fly on or near cliffs
6. Do not fly it near moving vehicles
7. Check weather for wind speed
8. Do not fly it in an enclosed space
9. Fly in the empty vast desert that is only sand for kms around
10. Read instructions on how to use it and watch how experts use similar model
6. Do not fly it near any vehicles (stationary or moving). You wouldn't want to hit someones new lexus or mercedes in the park, now would You? :D
I was given a drone worth around $100 several weeks ago. I haven't tried it out yet because I'm afraid its first and last flight will be like one of these videos.

Do not bother animals
Do not photograph private properties
And read local regulations

@@localtortoise it actually doesn’t only happen on tv haha. I live abroad from my birth place and I do this all the time with my friends. If another person speaks my mother tongue I will address him most of the time in English so all the others understand but if I want to talk faster or say something that can’t really be said in English for example I switch just the time to say it.

And then the guy he was talking to spoke in English and then the camera guy who had just spoken in English spoke to the guy in the other language
Yeah the only thing the pilot should've focused on at that time is shutting the motors, but he looked everywhere but the controller.

Amazes me that there's not one, but two videos where the pilot managed to fly the drone expertly through the trees, only to crash it into himself.
My favorite drone fail was when my uncle got one for Christmas. He let his son (mid-20s as the time if I remember right) fly it, he immediately caught it in his sister's (a few years older than him) hair. Afterward he said "Once a little brother, always a little brother."
