“To Be Loved.” I have no words. On my first listen of the album I just knew that this song was special.
I'm a 42 yr old trucker and this woman just made me ugly cry on "To Be Loved" fuck! 😭
This song is a true opus. To quote another great singer/songwriter, 'It Hurts 2 B Human'. Even through her pain, though, Adele's voice raises the stakes by offering hopefulness and redemption, walking through the fire, and emerging, not unscathed, but with self-knowledge and acceptance as a balm. Just glorious. I love this album.

Amazing and profound are the words of the hour. Your commentary and feelings really reached me and to be honest I think probably helped me appreciate her achievement. The pleading of Adele in her words and voice made the declarations of her will and her terrible feelings light up more than I can remember for another artist. Seeing the comments highlighted in Stream was like the best. I have been missing out! Thank you for this

Great reaction. 2022 grammy nominees are out, Adele and Silk Sonic will be contenders next year. The eligibility period for Grammys is September I think so this 2 will be 2023 for sure. Bill's HTE was out august and she is nominated (hopefully will win). Kinda glad HTE and 30 are not face to face AOTY cause I love them both so much. Loved Silk Sonic too but Adele will swipe all the awards next year.

I don't think woman like me is about her ex-husband, because she said she wouldn't talk bad about him on the album out of respect for their son. and no one did anything serious, it's just that the wedding wasn't going any more, you know. she was no longer happy there, so >she< decided to get divorced. and they have a good relationship now, which is great that she is not an angry divorced woman, because of the child. and in the divorce process she really went through a lot, it must have been pretty hard. that's why in the voicemail of my little love she says to her child "like i really don't know what i'm doing"

Album was a 7 to me. But because of her name, I know people will push it to a 9-10. If it was some unknown that made this album, it wouldn't have as much buzz. Definitely still a good album though.
Joy Cooke's - Skin album was a better album, in MY opinion of course. No disrespect because 2021 has a lot of GREAT female albums.
@@xWiffler for me it's between Black Pumas and Shannon & The Clams for AOTY, maybe even The Marias, but I know the Grammys would never look at those for AOTY because they're not pop enough. But if they can win in the categories they're nominated in, that's a small victory.

Amazed at all the hype. A truly self- indulgent and cynical record from Adele. But she does win a prize for the worst lyric of 2021 with “ I’ll be bringing flowers to the cemetery of my heart” …Ugh. I cannot wait until she releases her album 50 - the menopause album. God help us all.
