Recently purchased this drone. 1st flight pos hold was very unstable, did the calibration and no issues. Haven't d in done any long range flying or video but can tell the range is not the best. screen flickers a lot less 80 meters. Will do some upgrades to help that out. I give it about 3.5 stars out of 5.

something you might want to try for the distance is put the antenna's out to the side and it might help also you do get FPV with a Phantom just use your cell phone or tablet with the app. Great video thanks for sharing. Beautiful scenery.

I don't have or use a cell phone so I'm looking for a video drone that has it's own monitor like the UpAir One. However, I did see that the gimbal had issues of bouncing or surging which messes up the whole video ?
Can you suggest (recommend) a drone w/ it's own screen like the UPair ?
I do like the 15+ min. flight time, the 1K distance control as well as the many plenty other features and price.
I'm sorry but I don't know the language well yet but what did you mean by FPV (first person video) going out at 120 yds (m) ? Is that the screen loosing signal ?

Nice review. I would've liked to seen you install the camera in the gimbal, though, to get an upclose view of the build-quality of the gimbal.
This quad is great on paper for the money! Unfortunately the quality is low and many buyers have one problem or another on arrival. Plus, the prices of the Phantom 3 standard have come way down.

This Drone is really amazing and indeed it really affordable and worth the 400 bucks but the gimbal twitching is it something that all of the have in common or was it just yours? and if there is anything more you come across that might be of a bit you know a fault lemme know

question... I received my replacement of my upairone G10 drone. they say they sent me the 4k camera... however. it looks nothing like the one you have just opened? I'm wondering if they just switched boxes and the Id./label to show 4k.. the video and fpv view don't look 4k.. it in my thoughts looks like less quality than my syma with the 1080p camera.. ???any suggestions feedback?

I was told there are 4 models of the upair one 4k. Does anyone know anything about that?? I bought one through Amazon from the manufacturer, the drone did not power on, so I returned it with no issue. Reading and watching endless info about this drone (I have an extra battery and propellers so I hope to get a GOOD one of these) I saw a claim that the first and third “models” are good, the second and fourth are not, and that you don’t know what you are getting before it arrives.
Is this true? If so, is there a way to get the one you want? If not...well I guess I’ll cross fingers or something.

I am considering th Up Air One as a first drone to get into drone filming. How hard is it to remove the stock 2 axis gimbal and install the 3 axis gimbalto this drone? Keep in mind I have no electrical soldering/component repair knowledge. Also, does this drone have a feature to help with auto orientation or is it a complete manual experience in which I would need alot of practice before buying? I don't want to crash it or run it into something or someone because I didn't understand drone orientation.? Please help as I have no drone knowledge, but really want to get into commercial drone business. My budget is small, so I can't afford drones more than $500 but I want a drone to start small and get into real estate, filming, photo,etc. Any suggestions would help from anyone? Thanks

Oh yes how did I forget to it! It has a turning wheel on the side of the transmitter that allows you to move the camera up and down.

I have this quadcopter myself so far I like it but I ordered two batteries from banggood and neither one were any good both were bad and won't take a charge or hold a charge.

Unfortunatly i still need help. Version V1.0 Motherboard drone number is UpAir 2 PX4 v1.2.00 2016y 09M06D inability video recording in another resolution other than the 4k (which of course is not 4K, paper submitted all) All of the 3 sec pressing i try no use. Thank you anyone...
tear out all electronics from within inside, and install the new electronics based on new flight controller, new OSD + FPV, new ESC + motors + props.
only after that this quadcopter will begin to work

Let me tell you, this is the first time I have ever seen the drone fly, I purchased one from Banggood and it was no good right out of the box and they would NOT make good on it used every excuse and wanted videos of me trying to fly it. all I can say is don't waste your money on this drone. you can do better with a cheaper drone they at least fly
Walt Ensign Banggood they Conyougood. They are a bunch of thieving liars. They sent me a Quadcopter 28 days late after I ordered it express shipping 7-12 day promise. They said they would give me partial refund for compensation within 72 hours back to my PayPal account. Well it's been 30 days now pass 72 hours ago they promised. To add insult to injury they listed my Quadcopter as fully refunded & erased it from my account, so if it did not work there would be no record of it & I could not return it ever for warranty.
They are Con artist & Liars, I will never buy from them again. This is how they treat their number one loyal customers. After you buy a lot of stuff from them, they shit in your face. Fuck You Banggood !!!😬Never again !!!😠
Is the 4K much better than the 2K version?
Yes but it depends on how you wish to use it. If you are a photographer or filmmaker you probaly want the 4K but just for fun it's best to get the 2k because it's less expensive.

I got the Upair Chase shortly after release but it was utter crap.
The issues with it was out of this world long.
Hope this one is better for those that have it.
I will stick with DJI because it is overall the better drone, but hey, depends on what you need in a drone.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a DJI fan boy, I would welcome competition, but this is not it.
Lets see what the future holds though.
Hey mayiandjay, Just want to help anyone I can with the new Upair one.. ABOUT THE OVER HEATING PROBLEM WITH THE RECEIVER IN THE HAND CONTROLLER. I wanted to try everything I could not to put a fan inside the controller. Well, I tried 4 different transmitters. finely found one that don't over heat. I tried ( 2 ) Readytosky TS5823L 200m with no luck. Tried the ( Sinopine TS5828 600m ) with no luck. Tried the ( Skyzone TS5823S 200m ) Bingo. NOT OVER HEATING. I have only tried the video in the house. It has worked great through 3 batteries but I have not been able to fly to see how far it will work yet due to weather in Wisconsin. Hope this saves people time and headaches.

It looks OK, but I've read plenty of reviews and seen videos of people who have bad issues with the video not recording properly.
Now you are saying you can't get even 200m range.
Others are saying things about dead batteries. This is unacceptable for a $300+ price tag.
This is NOT a $99 drone guys, it's getting close to the price of a Phantom 3 Standard.
Just save your pennies for a little longer and get real value for your money.
