    Pottawatomie Chants by Julius Chavez.
From the Nashville Tribute Band album TREK: A NASHVILLE TRIBUTE TO THE PIONEERS, produced by Jason Deere and Dan Truman. Mixed by Luke Wooten.
The amazing part of American History that we call the great Pioneer Trek, where more than 50,000 people walked off of the “end of the earth” in what is now modern-day Omaha, Nebraska, and journeyed their way through tremendous trials to find their peace in the valleys of the Rocky Mountain west will forever be one of the great feats of human endurance and resilience. Not just because they defied the odds, but because they did it for the love of their God.

I love this WOLVES chant. I would like to sing it myself as an opening piece on a short recital honoring the history of Rock Island in Wisconsin including the Pottawatomie tribe, who were the first to inhabit the island . I do not want anyone to feel that I am trying to appropriate this music or it's meaning. I would like the permission of the tribe to sing it myself in tribute to their history on Rock Island. Is there printed music for this chant? I would also like a translation to share with the audience. Thank you.
