The lyrics are low-key deep. In the beginning she says "what you in a rush for, are you trying to meet your maker darling? Are you running out of time, huh? Time ain't even real... you really need to chill, it's all an illusion." It seems like she is describing the paranoia that sets in when he is on drugs (DMT). This helps to heighten the toxicity in the relationship, which causes her to question her sanity because at the end of the day she still loves this man.
