HAIM is one of those bands that has been grinding it over more than a decade (they officially formed in 2007 but didn’t took it seriously until 2012) so they have a goldmine of a backlog for new fans to Discover!
This is pure music. I don't expect a lot of people to understand it. This is what happens when raw talent comes out of instruments, not filtered, not auto-tuned.

I think they play their instruments pretty well, but their singing is average at best. And bass girl is going to be so embarrassed in about 30 years. Those faces she makes are equal parts comical and horrid. I could understand if she had Tourette’s. But why anyone would do that on purposes is beyond me.
It's great. She can really sing and in an interesting way. I did have a slight problem making out some of the words on first listen, though. However, I like it. What a solid band. They're great musicians.

They remain me of the swing out sisters lead singer from the 80's I really thought it may have been a song that I never heard from the band but I'm in love with this freakin song ! Just screams Summer!
I love their music! They perform the @$%! of it live. Great stuff. They bassist has an Angus Young stage vibe. You can't take you eyes off of her. Pure heart and soul. Keep on rocking young ladies. I am a die hard fan! Bless Up! .

Mathew Saenz i hear alanis too, absolutely, but the MJ references are on point - listen to the single note guitar leads and also the way danielle has rhythmic breaths in her vocals - it's very MJ. haim is like a legit mix of today's teeny-bop indie and 90's adult contemporary.
Boy, I miss the days when there were websites that could loop CZcams videos between certain timecodes. It's great that CZcams allows you to loop videos on the site now, but I sorely miss the ability to cut out intros and outros when jammin' to my current jam.
Found this band through a Target commercial using this song. Best thing Target has ever done for me.
