🇵🇷🏝 Excellent segment.🌺💯❤️
Very well told. Papa’s is a Humboldt Park gem.
If Dino was raised in HP, and respects/contributes to the PR community (without a savior complex/but on an equal level), then he is ALSO Puerto Rican. 😊
Esmeraldas looks great & reminds me of the island. Love Cafe Colao, too. This segment was well done!
Your videos are the best I've seen on Chicago. Keep it up please!
That food looks delicious. Love learning about different cultures. I will be visiting soon. Thanks, Pedro, for sharing.
Born raised in Humboldt park great video,Diana's on Augusta and Richmond Puerto Rican steak sandwiches are amazing
lincoln park, bucktown, wicker park, logan square, and now humboldt park. gentrification is nothing new to we Puerto Ricans
I’m a bit insulted by the boundaries you have described as Humboldt park. I lived in HP for over 40 years. You’ve taken me out of this community. The eastern boundaries are California and the Western boundaries are go past Pulaski. What is designated as Puerto Rico Town is probably the boundaries you have described and that would be West Town. Check the city’s official boundaries for the 77 community areas.
Look up how Puerto Rican town was designated legally I’m a north sided Puerto Ricans and due to time I know he cannot capture all details. I patronize the businesses and my parents always took us to all activities. I’m very satisfied with this video as a starting point.
Damn no mention of the pervious inhabitants of Humboldt park like the Poles or the Germans.
When you say Humboldt Park you think Puerto Ricans. This Documentary covers the last 60+ years of the area and it's challenges from the past and now it's current challenge of gentrification.
Awesome video I really enjoyed it,thank you
