Bought the DualTron Victor 60V 24Ah a few months ago.. almost 400km done (250 miles) & i’m in love with it.
Anyway, I completely agree with this video. The main cons of this scooter are the horn, the light & the footplate. All of them can be easily solved but mainly the horn and the front light should be included for that price..
I strongly recommend this scooter, one of the best acquisition i had made. It is a beast & you can easily add another battery if you are planning to ride more than 60mph without stopping. 9.5/10.
Congrats for your video. One of the best reviews of this model in CZcams right now. U can add another subscriber. 👍🏻

jimmy, you and andrew do great things for the scooter community, that is why i think all of the asian manufacturers would listen to you if you told them that we in north america NEED wider handlebars. please and thank you.

I have had this e-scooter for more than 400 kms now and I love it. Concerning the negative points, I would say brakes because the ABS needs to be deconnected. It is so annoying. The brakes are too powerful when you first hit the brakes, then when you press the lever harder, no brakes. I had the oil changed. Nothing changed. I wish the brakes were more progressive. Also the max speed for me is around 65 km/h. Not 75. But the way it can hit 50 km/h is impressive indeed when you battle with cars 😀. I wish I could ride it under the rain. But it is not advisable by the dealer.. Apart from this, great scooter, good range and terribly beautiful! No puncture so far. I hope so because inflating the front tyre is a real pain...

You should review the Achilleus! I went with it over the Victor because of the larger tubeless tires and the lighted rear kick plate, it also has the lighted swing arms like the Thunder 😎You lose a bit of portability over the Victor but well worth it, also bigger battery at 35 AH

I noticed the Victor has the old style rear fender thats hard to reach to tighten or remove , they seem to be using some old design / parts . my Eagle Pro has easy access easily removable front and rear fenders , you definitely need a universal puller to remove the swing arm to fix a flat tire , trying to pound it off without the proper tool will damage it.

  • @oddtechman
    @oddtechman Před 2 lety +1

I think the "Victor" is a tinker's scooter at the end of the day.. comes as a base only.. and everything else is an extra to allow you to make it your own custom-tron.. footplate, handlebar extenders to add proper handlbars etc. The only other real annoyance that Rk9 picked up on is the tyres are tubed.. and the tubeless option are from the dualtron 3 which are smaller... there is no victor size options from dualtron..

What is a difference in acceleration/torque between Victor and Thunder (the first model, not the new one)?
    Is Thunder way faster?
I think Victor is in pair with vsett 10+/ kaabo mantis pro/zero 10x..
So those who tried Thunder and any of those mentioned above, how does a difference in acceleration feel?
I am deciding between the two and I am not gonna ride it past 40 km/h.. cause I don' t want to kill myself. I want to enjoy acceleration, this is important to me. Thanks!

im Victor user, Victor came to me from factory with only back wheel active, front wheel wasn't active, and acceleration was not good it was normal i mean, after i researched on google, i learned that has to be connected two free wire for to activate front wheel, but it became very dangerous i could not control handlebar and wheels were spinning on road, imagine the acceleration/torque, i never tried Thunder but as i watch videos there is no big difference except range

I have looked over these dualtron scooters and it looks incomplete without the angle kick plate in the back. They do that with so many of there scooters and I find it annoying. Without it not worth it for me. Now that ability to add another battery for extra long range is rather nice. Nice quiet motor(sign of a good motor)
I have not checked if this has a sine wave controller. I will not buy a scooter without one. To many of there scooters do not have one. Never a part to go cheap on to me.
They also need to stop going cheap with using tubed tires.

You, like many not so shop wise techies call a screw a bolt; when it is not and visa versa. If it does not need a nut than it is almost always a screw and a screw requires threads to be drawn into a surface or as in wood, make their own threads. Usually screws are turned by a phillips or allen, torx bit or even old school slotted. Bolts are sometimes not threaded completely and require a non threaded bigger hole to go through first before anchoring in to a back retaining second threaded surface/wall or having a nut. You are trying hard to teach so get the basics correct before everyone's english is so wrong. Like, you know, for sure.. A machine screw a smaller bolt with a device cap tiurned via Phillips hex and Allen etc. When small they call em screws- go figure but they won't normally have a hex head likely below a 1/4". A nut and bolt combo cannot usually come a apart excxept y failure where as m,amy a screw can yield and fail with a shallow depth or wood bond. Side by side a hex 10/32 can have a 1/2 hex head or a phillips head and both be call a machine screw because of its samll size below 1/4. Indifference, thats is why confusion. arises.
