I'm telling you, everyone are intimidated by the scooter scene in VN, UNTIL they get on the back of the scooter and have a Vietnamese driver drive you around. The exhilaration, the sense of freedom, but being part of a community of fellow scooter riders, is indescribable. It's like a human version of a school of fish swimming around and moving around. The fun sensation is when you ride next to another scooter with young kids talking to their parents.

I have watching you guys for a long time. If you stay in Saigon Royal dist.4, you should try Bo Ne Thanh Tuyen. This store has been selling beef for 25 years, i highly recommend you should try this as local people. It's really near your place, just 2 minutes for walking.

This is like friends seeing each other again, not a tour. Great vibe guys. The first place you went to in the video, the crab place, is very popular with Japanese tourists for a long time. It has great soft shell crab. I remember when I was living and working in VN from 2003 to 2012, that place already get a lot of Japanese tourists.

I know u guys have tasted so much vietname food. As an second generation viet born and raised in Norway 😅 this is my favorite vietnamese food:
Canh chua - sour fish soup
Xoi lap xuong - sticky rice with chinese sausage
Bo kho - beew stew flavour bomb
Bo kh^o - beef jerky, my grandma always brought it from vietnam to Norway 😋
Muc kho nuong - grilled dry squid
Ga xa nghe - lemongrass chicken
Mam Chung - Vietnamese meatloaf
Banh khot - mini yellow pancakes
Thit kho tieu - pepper caramelized pork

You went to the best crab spring roll restaurant in Saigon . 19 years ago I took my two friends from Montréal there and they adored it . Since then each time they went back to HCMC , they always asked me to take them back there again and again . Besides the two dishes you ate , they still have a lot of delicious crab specialties such as deep fried salt and pepper softshell crabs , crabs in tamarind sauce , crab glass noodle soup , crab fried rice and many more .
Yum! That is so amazing, we love it. Next time we are able to go back we will have to try some more dishes 😊
the Sturgis motorcycle rally at it's height would be training wheels stuff compared to Saigon on any random weekday.

Vietnamese need to drink because as you experienced, the weather is so hot or very hot…so eating food with tea/water/juice etc to cool down the body…
For me, i don’t drink with my meals in the states; cause 90% we eat food inside our home with AC, when the weather is hot…
but i drink tea/water
everytime I eat a meal in Vietnam to cool down…cause we spend 60-70% eating food on the street in hot weather…
