*Same weight and rehydration clause
*sanctioned by the BBBofC or any legit pro commission in the US in hope for a competent referee this time
*8 rounds
The last fight was shambolic and the referee did a terrible job by not deducting KSI for the back of the head shots or the truly insane amount of excessive clinching. Nobody ever wants to see such a poor main event again.

@@hotwheelz3643 Thats the unfortunate result of excessive clinching. Both fighters hit each other in the back of the head but its not necessarily on purpose. Its just that when fighters are in the clinch, they tend to duck their heads down and away from their opponents often which leads to a hit in the back of the head.

A rematch would be pointless, that night proved to us that Tommy and JJ are not suitable fighters for each other. Tommy went from a pro boxer to standard, I think JJ has realised how BIG his ego is and taking a break from boxing was the right decision. The fight that we truly need is the Jake fight. Next year.

Yes, but Tommy is the professional so everyone overlooks it. Clinching is legal in boxing, but the ref should’ve told both of them to stop embracing every 10 seconds so it’s an actual fight and not such a snoozefest. Clinching is used as a means of defense

Tommy Fury is a “professional” boxer who has been boxing all his life and he sometimes trains with the world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Tommy should’ve knocked KSI and Jake Paul out cold in the first round. He should’ve never let Jake Paul drop him and definitely shouldn’t have engaged in like 35/70 clinches in KSI fight or whatever. I’ve been a ksi fan since 400k subs and I’ve grown to realize his ego might have gotten the best of him. I’d watch the highlights of that rematch.. because I don’t want to pay for another disaster of a main event.
Maybe it has more to do with your expectations of him than his actual ego. Confidence is very important in boxing, stop holding KSI to some crazy high standard just because he does what almost every other boxer does which is have a ton of faith in themselves. You don't have to believe everything he says lol.
Realize that most people thought he wouldn't be able to do anything against Tommy and that he would easily lose because of the experience gap but his hard work and gameplan made the fight extremely competitive to the point where the decision could've gone either way (admitted by John Fury himself).
You're right that the fight was pretty bad to watch though, don't wanna risk seeing that again in a rematch. Their styles just clash horribly.
