i cannot wait for mine to arrive. now i get a better idea on the sheath. im stoked because i can easily make this a sling carry. this things a beast and i believe a sling will be the best option and this sheath will easily adapt to that
I just received a Grizzly from the final run. The tip is very thin, measuring at 16 thousands of an inch. I am very concerned that it will bend or break in use. I have and use many knives and none of the tips are this thin, even on the smallest knives I have. As a comparison, my thin kitchen paring knife has a thicker tip than this massive knife. It sure looks nice but I don't know what I am going to use it for now. This is either a design flaw or a grinding flaw (hope this is taken as constructive). Either way, a knife this big and tough should have a stouter tip, otherwise, what is the point. I find the handle design and feel to be superb. I'd be interested to get some feedback on the tip design / what the thinking was here...
