Would you let the groom design the dress??
Watch the series here: goo.gl/Z9Jfg1
Only if he was a fashion designer.
Yes because my fiancé has style. However I already found my dress! On the cheap lol check out Etsy vintage pages if you’re lookin to thrift a dress like I was
E4 no chance, that’s why we paid for our wedding rather than having a circus. I’ve noticed a lot of these grooms are seriously taking the piss.
E4 fuck no
E4 by boyfriend has great taste so yes. He would NEVER make anything that cheap ever
"back to school" theme for a wedding?
Thats more weird than the dress
Well to be fair he sounds like he should still be in school...
There was a pig theme on one episode!😂🤦♀️
Charlotte woah. A back to school theme doesn't seem so crazy anymore
Yes Charlotte but that bride told everyone that she loved pigs but she didn't expect her fiance to completely pig out !
Sammy I don’t think anyone would expect to have a pig theme lmao x
Oh my goodness, this really is the most hideous dress I have ever seen, that poor bride, I have never cringed so bad for someone in my life.
Sammy 😂😂😂😂😂
Then again she knew this would happen and be publically humiliated. So I don't feel bad for the bride. Just more for the groom since he is trying to plan it out
helenn most brides wouldn't even consider their groom to design a dress most would expect their groom to buy one like normal people. There is no way that she could have forseen this monstrosity.
Sammy She also mentioned having told him the dress was "the one thing" she told him not to take risks with, so...he messed up big-time.
Jonquil Gemstone that just proves that with men what you tell them goes in one ear and straight out of the other !
The dress was marginally bad, but the situation of using the college as a wedding venue was even worse. What is wrong with all the guys on this show
Abdullah Ansar I think that a idea was quite sweet, perhaps a matter of personal taste
I cannot agree more....
I married my husband at a school, the high school he teaches at. We decorated the room and it was beautiful!
The producers tend to screw with the guys on purpose, and they're not allowed themes from previous episodes. They'll purposefully cancel things on the day to stress the bride out. And the actual ceremony takes place a day after the 'wedding day'. :D
The guys don't know sh.....
"If you knew how much it cost... It's not cheap"
Oh my.. he doesn't understand what cheap means. Has nothing to do with cost sweetie.... It's cheaply MADE.
i was going to say, they should have said Well it bloody looks cheap. the netting on the sleeves...oh my god DX
Nug tg it wasn't even cheaply made. It's the design itself that's cheap.
Joe Sullivan the comb for the veil was plastic... that's cheap
@@snowgibbs2775 most veils with the comb attached are made of what?????? Plastic. It's not cheap. The design is what makes the gown look cheap.
Her life with a man like that will be hell on earth… seriously.
My jaw actually hit the floor!
I refuse to believe he thought this was a decent wedding dress! It looked like a costume wedding dress that u might wear for Halloween!
I'm feel soooo offended and I'm not even the bride.
and a wedding in the classroom! i would dump this guy! he's a joke
I wonder how he feels, having a bunch of women attacking him down the phone when he genuinely thought the dress would look nice.
That groom is such a twat
@@maredgwenllian9698 That bride is such a drama queen, along with her friends. There was no need for her to get so upset and angry over something like that.
@@sylvetteslavika5930 You would dump him just because he failed to impress you with a wedding dress and because of where he wanted to marry you!? Fucking ridiculous.
His totally flippant attitude really pisses me off.
The wedding would be cancelled. I’d expect someone who genuinely loved me and cared about me to actually consider what I wanted when planning OUR wedding. If they didn’t, is that really someone you want to be with for the rest of your life?
I'd feel like my partner wasn't taking it seriously and was trying to humiliate me. I could forgive getting the style wrong (e.g. don't like strapless dresses but he goes and choses a strapless dress) but this is too far.
A Ch shutup
A Ch wtf
gardenofeden123 And if you ‘really’ loved your boyfriend, you would wear it. And for years to come have a good laugh. We can’t be too selfish.
Robyn, go get a better vocabulary. We all know this is true.
Her face as they reviled her dress was priceless
Omg what an awful gown what was he thinking, that poor girl no wonder she was so upset
He was thinking about the wedding night...
The weddings on shows like 'Weddings with a cheap Budget'- kind are more romantic, despite the challenges they face: Love triumphs! ;)
How little respect the groom has for the bride- What will her dad think ? DONT MARRY HIM.
These people know they’re going to be on the show so why not sit their fiancé down and plan it out month or weeks before the actual thing (before the filming crew come in).
Safa the brides do tell their fiance what they want but with most men - it goes in one ear and straight out of the other.
richter75 ahh makes sense now
Sammy 😂 this show is the best evidence for your statement
The show is called "Don't Tell the Bride".
Christine Huang I understand that but I would assume that the brides would try and tell the grooms the theme of their dream wedding or specific details they might desire. So that on their wedding day they get their desired outcome and aren’t upset as shown in the video.
I would have to seriously question if the person I was marrying knew me at all if they went so very wrong with such an important element of the day. The style and tastes of your other half is something you should know inside out!
Misskeeleyt or if they even care about what you want
Misskeeleyt Chill. People aren't mind readers, and all the knowledge of another's taste humanly possible will not give someone fashion sense.
If you think someone has to know everything about your preferences *before* even being married, then perhaps you ought to reassess your view of human relationships.
Then again, that dress is too awful for anyone. I would second guess the marriage, if I were her.
Lisa L Nevermind.
The dress is too hideous for words and has no class. You win.
Jonquil Gemstone lol! It wasn't a competition, but the dress was horrible. I can't believe he designed it.
I don't like strapless and I don't like meringue but if my partner chose a strapless meringue I could deal with it. I could not have dealt with THAT horrible dress though. It's like he is trying to humiliate her.
If only Primark sold wedding dresses, then this wouldn't have happened...
ikr
Sammy Primark recently came out with bridal themed things such as mugs, purses, and decor as well as suits
Lol
I didn't think it looked too bad until I saw it up close, I can tell the materials look cheap. It looks CHEAP, it doesn't matter if it wasn't "cheap" to buy but the materials...no, hun.
it looks like a cheap halloween costume
that reveal of the dress honestly had me in stitches
I have yet to see an episode of this programme where the groom doesn't just treat the whole thing like a joke
Underwater wedding. Bride was excited.
There was also the royal wedding, which was gorgeous but the bride just wanted a small thing and was shy. Yet agreed to appear on a tv show... >shrug<
Some of them aren't bad and the brides get mad over little stupid things. Like mistakes on the transport or shoes not fitting quite right.
I just saw that one it was amazing!
There was one groom who had a theme of "Peaky Blinders" absolutely beautiful wedding with a 1920's vintage twist, bride looked beautiful and the bridesmaids did too!
Back when it started. Now they only have idiots on there
I have seenmany grooms that made their brides happy as a child try watching Cinderella wedding it was awesome and the games of throne theme one, not my style but the bride loved it
I want to see a show where the bride designs the grooms outfit, and a wedding....but that usually happens in normal weddings
This relationship sounds toxic and horrible
The way he tried to make her feel all guilty was terrible
They have a child now, I think. A daughter.
If the bride loved pink and barbie style stuff then the dress might have gone down OK, fair play to designing it himself but it just doesn't look any good on the bride and makes her look bigger than she is.
The bride had an orange tan so even if she did love pink - it would still look hideous.
true, its just a bad bad dress in every way.
If only Primark sold wedding dresses...then this twit wouldn't have felt the need to design the dress himself.
See, you jest but I can actually see Primark doing that at some point! After ASOS and other brands start doing budget gowns, who knows? But ugh, the dress is still just a whole plate of nope. Looks like something from Big Fat Gypsy Weddings.
Yes I thought about Big Fat Gypsy weddings aswell. There's nothing wrong with a new budget dress, I would personally prefer a new budget dress than an expensive second hand one. But would you really want to tell people that your wedding dress came from a budget store.
Note to grooms: If you want your bride to be happy, don't design a dress unless you're a pro at bridal designing
Usually I don’t have much sympathy for people on these shows, but holy cow, that gown really was a disaster. And a wedding in what looks like a school classroom/cafetorium/whatever? There’s way too much bad nostalgia happening here.
That’s what you get when you let your man design your dress. He has no talent as a designer. He probably saw the episode of Say Yes To The Dress with a similar looking dress. The one area she asked him not to mess with and he did. Oh boy.
I love the fact he says" I didn't even buy it like that " as in he would've done if some designer was mad enough to design it themselves
Oh good gravy!! I read the comments and thought they surely must be exaggerating!! Nope!! That dress is horrible!!
The poor thing actually put it on aswell....
Same!! I thought they were just being brat but when i saw the dress...
*I WAS LIKE HOLY MAC AND CHEESE THEY WERE NOT KIDDING*
I like the friend he was like "oh my god, the reaction you wanted?"
I think he thought he was doing a good thing. lol. Bless his stupid clueless heart.
Melissa Gordon he kinda ruined her day so no..
Melissa Gordon finally, somebody with the decency to see that the thought and effort are worth a lot more than the end result. If she really hated it she could have spoke to him about changing it but her and her cackling witches didn't have to behave the way they did and speak to him the way they did. I'm sure his feelings were hurt by having what he thought was a nice gesture thrown back in his face.
Kai T cackling witches? They were sad and upset! The dress looked cheaply made, and clearly did not match her style at all. He may have had good intentions but he messed up badly.
@@kait2972 Thought and effort? I don't think he actually put that in, but even so, the end result is incredibly important. It's better to have that mentality than to have the mentality of "it's the thought that counts." Seriously, which mentality do you think is going to yield better results?
Your distasteful sentiment aside, what "thoughtful" man would risk choosing a pink and midriff bearing wedding dress? Even for a total stranger, my thought process would be to establish parameters that the bride will likely value. One such standard would be social acceptableness. Most people don't want to look offensive on their wedding day.
@@AlliYAFF if you think a nice wedding dress is more important than a nice husband, you're right. Treating him with decency and appreciating his effort would yeild the best results. Your comment about what's 'acceptable' says a lot about you and how you judge people.
😱😱😱
Okay...he has NO taste! Forget her personal style, he had better not dress any children they have...if they even get married after this.
I died when they pulled the curtains😂😂😂
WHEN HE RAISED HIS HAND
I laughed so loud
He’s in a school so he raised his hand lmao
The face on her is priceless
That dress is a disaster and my heart went out to that young woman! Reminded me of a cheap belly dancer outfit. What was he thinking?!? He wasn't, that's the problem and that, coupled with poor taste on his part ... well, it was a disaster!! I hope she put her foot down and said NO! I'd be re-thinking the whole marriage thing. I hope that all turns out well for her.
Run for the hills, love. It’s not too late.
I just love his friend... “the reaction you wanted?” 😂
shows like this make me realise how lucky I am. My fiance is better at picking out things for me than I am. I would honestly trust him to organise our wedding on his own
ITS NOT THE COST!!!
IT'S THE QUALITY!!!
I love all her friends and family go and support her
There is a lot to be said about tradition: i.e. the BRIDE chooses her dress!
CarolynsATeam the show has the groom pick it out. She agreed to it.
Omg her dress.....
And these two are getting married??? I bet you £100 they won't last a year!
Maximilian van Vliet they did and now they got baby palms! #BigGameBigBabies
Even his friend was like " Her stomach is out "? Yeah, its that bad.
Just because a dress isn’t actually cheap doesn’t mean it doesn’t LOOK cheap. That poor woman. Sorry.
WOW!! A dress designer he's NOT! He might have ment ment well but, that dress was out of this world (in a bad way). I hope the 👰 NEVER let's him live this down!
Thered differences between a prom and a wedding. A wedding is nothing close to a prom and a wedding means alot more to the women. Its shocking how a man thought DESIGNING and BUYING or CHOOSING a dress for their bride was a good idea
"I want to be married in a classroom"
*Picks out the most awful looking dress I've seen this far*
The wedding would be cancelled and I wouldnt be surprised if they broke up like he could've at least put some thought into it
The friend is like, "Her belly's out?" He's prolly like, oh shiiiiiit, man. 😂
Omg 😲 Is it conceivable that this man hates his bride?
I have no sympathy for her, she chose to be on the show and she knew the risks
Violet S Yeah but he should have known. What do they have in common?
Polly Pockets the things that they have in common are unrealistic expectations from each other
I do, because I could never imagine a person so stupid to design a dress like that could actually exist.
Violet S exactly!! I’m so bothered by brides who complain when they agreed to do this
Violet S ikr the rucking dumb butch STOP CRYING STUPID PIG
WHY WOULD YOU LET THE DAMN GROOM DESIGN THE DAMN DRESS!
LMAO the dress look like a strippers dress!!! I felt so horribly bad for her!!! It's almost like he put NO thought into making something that she would be comfortably in let alone want to wear , and I kinda think he purposely choose that horrible thing to humiliate her. She's better then me cause I'd sell it and purchase another dress or hell just wear jeans and tee shirt cause that's how bad it is! .
ikkk
School is a place of trauma for me man, I would run. Then have nightmares every night for the foreseeable future like I already do. Lol
Bless her!!
That's tight.she is a beautiful girl and deserves a beautiful dress
Saira Parveen She is ugly asf. Needs to sort that makeup and her eyebrows out.
"Do you know how much the dress cost? It wasn't cheap"
Honey, neither is all the combined trash it takes to make up a garbage dump!
Normally I'd say "you chose to let them pick it, be thankful" but oh my God that was horrendous!!
How can he treat her like that it's RIDICULOUS
Anything for Paula 💛
What in ur right mind would make u think that this is ok 😂😂
I can’t tell you how long I’ve been trying to find this clip
Thank you 🙏
SE DONS TO THE WORLLDDD! We’re going global. Big up Ryan Palmer 🤣
oh helll no that dress is horrid
The dramatic woman who says her can’t do this to her’ lol 😂
I thought i have a very hight tolerant seeing these dresses (i ended up binge this kind of videos, lol), and very positive that i thought those dresses i saw was okay, not "that" bad when the brides didnt liked it.
BUT THIS.
THIS.
🤦
Why can't we see the rest if the clip bs..
The man put thought into this ..so ungrateful brat
3:01 the violation omg 😂😂😂😂
oh my god, this poor girl
THE LONGEST 90
SILKY PALMS
DONS
That guy seemed really proud of designing that cotton candy dress.
Mr. Butter fill 🤣🤣 omfg
The key to this is COMMUNICATION , seeing what the bride wants , what the groom wants and making everyone happy but the grooms just go at it like crazy .
How are they getting married ?
Me the premise of the show seems to be lost on you...
This is why I would plan everything out before the engagement...
'Back to school' wedding theme!? If it's one of my family's wedding themes I don't even want to attend
I’m getting married In November and and Im making my fiancé bing watch don’t tell the bride, so he don’t fuck with me 😂
The baby is so cute😊
I'm obsessed with watching these 😂😂
The groom had a really romantic idea actually, but it would've been better had the wedding been outside an older looking college. The groom designing the dress is also a sweet idea, it was all wonderful thoughts she's lucky to have had a groom who cares so much.
Emma's life B.B.
How are you being so oblivious to the obvious toxic ness of the relationship??
One word for the girl... RUN!
As a Maria, it’s really odd to hear my name over and over 😂.
1:53 -- when mum makes something I don't like for dinner.
Ayyyy ryan Palmer from SE Dons
The sports teacher reminds me of Tobias Menzies. Anyone else?
Why would he do that!? IN WHAT UNIVERSE DID HE THINK THAT SHE WOULD LIKE THAT DRESS?!?!?
Thanks for your time ato share.
3:00 Even his friend is shocked at the groom's "design".
excellent shot of that stapler that's the real mvp here
Oh how far he has come 😂😂now he plays semi professional football 😂
Someone tell me if the marriage went ahead. I can't bring myself to watch the full episode.
I think the friend was trying not to laugh so she acted like she was crying
Can't blame her
Big up Ryan Palmer and Swanley T, legends of the Wedding game #anythingforthedons
I thought they couldn’t have contact with each other at all?
She kinda grabbed the phone. I don't think she asked first. Also it makes food tv with her crying and shouting at him. I don't think the producers minded. Makes good telly.
Look at him - What would you expect?
I am so evil.. I was laughing on this
What woman would ever want a man to choose her wedding dress for her? she's the one who has to wear it, not him.
How awful. And then getting married in a school room......run, lady, run
The bride should just tell the guy everything she wants before they sign up for the show
White or off white color is better for wedding dress
RIP Paula
Lol who else found this in aki's playlist 👌😂😂😂
There's a difference between cheap and *BAD* cheap
